Landon_McFly 0
Yo, I've been lurking around this site for quite a bit now, and I keep reading about how everyone is expanding their bankroll and racing to 5,000, then to 10,000 and so forth. I was wondering what the best way to expand your bankroll REALLY is... Is it better to go the route of limit, or no limit? I'd really appreciate a reason for whichever answer you give also. I started with 100 dollars in a poker room account, and played nothing but NL. I started at .25/.50, worked my way to .5/1, then magically one day at the .5/1 table I made 500 bucks. To make things even better 2 days later I finished 3rd out of 541 in the 5k rebuy (5+.50) and won $455 for doing soo. so I moved up to the 1/2 NL and within 3 days I was back down to $300, back down to the .5/1, and then down to $125. I decided that I'm not gonna let this crap happen again, and I was wondering if the lone problem was that I was playing NL. I can easily work my way back to $300 or so by playing the .25/.5 10 handed NL tables, but it just gets tiresome. ANY input would be greatly appreciatedTY,Lando

doctor855 0
for something like this i think nl is the way to go. allthough you can lose more in one hand it is much easier to win more. i think you need to have a large bankroll to begin with to be able to play the limits where you could actually see a nice size return on your efforts. i've often done the same thing, build a small amount of money into a fairly large sum, and then end up giving it all back...for me i think that i start playing to loose...throwing the money around cause i have it. have to remember to play your good game..stop with the chasing and goofy calls hoping for a miracle to bust out another guy. Landon_McFly 0
If you have a $300 bankroll, and decide to play limit, what limit should you play? Should you play 5 handed or 10?
