SamC489 0
I just started playing a bit more cash games, mostly omaha hi/lo, and need to get some kind of software to track my results. Is pokertracker the best? Are there cheaper alternates? I dont mind dropping the $55 if it is worth it. any input? thanks.
monix 0
PokerTracker is invaluable, although I only play Hold 'em...
wsox8 10
just got PT hold em and I love it.. I was thinking of getting the omaha version too but if you play frequently I suggest you get it.
Zach6668 513
100% necessary for multitabling.1000000% necessary for analyzing your game. But keep this on the downlow please.
iowahawk09 0
I dont have PT, and I'm thinking its gonna be a good investment to take my game to the next level. I always thought programs like this would be misleading, but like Zach says, the self-analysis might fix some leaks and give me some good feedback.
Zach6668 513
The popular consensus for those who I know that multitable, say it adds ~1 BB/100 to your winrate.

gozo 0
I'll add my endorsement. I couldn't live without PT for both holdem and omaha. Although I've never used anything else in 3 years so I can't compare it to other software.
iowahawk09 0
What kind of info does it give about your opponents play?
Deltha 0
Is poker tracker only compatible with PCs? I have a Mac and am looking for something comparable. Thanks
kkot 0
What kind of info does it give about your opponents play?Everything that it gives you.Except hole cards that were not shown down.
iowahawk09 0
Everything that it gives you.Except hole cards that were not shown down. Can you be more specific than that. How does it break down the data? What does it measure?
Zach6668 513
Can you be more specific than that. How does it break down the data? What does it measure?Literally everything.Go to http://pokertracker.com and download the demo. You can import up to 1000 hands, it should be more than enough to show you how much you can do with this program.
JesseW316 0
Can you be more specific than that. How does it break down the data? What does it measure?lol at that, not at you just the question. If I wrote out everything that this thing tracks, I would run out of space in the post and have to make a second one. PT is absolutely the best thing to happen to online cash game players. I don't really play a lot of cash, but I'm kinda starting to get back into it, and already I've set-up my new database and preferences and they're ready to go whenever I sit down.PT along with GT+ or PokerAceHUD is unbelievably valuable when playing. I only use it to track my cash results since I have my own spreadsheet for tourneys, but right now I just loaded an old hand history from last month when I won the 25k guaranteed 50+5 on Stars, and I'm rewatching the entire tournament through the hand replayer to take a look at how I played so I can study any mistakes or great plays I think I made. It's the nuts.Poker TrackerAceHud or Gametime+PokerStoveall great tools to use.

NoSup4U 0
Can you be more specific than that. How does it break down the data? What does it measure?Ask me something that could possibly known about any hand either I or any opponent I've played in my entire online history, and I will be able to use poker tracker to get that info. The only thing that it doesn't track that I think I would like sometimes is the time it takes someone to make a decision. But thats getting a little picky.Mark
