I came across people talking about this on RGP, and I don't remember seeing anything on FCP about it:http://www.onlineforumchallenge.com/mls.se...tsID=61#Sign-upSeems like something a lot of people here would have fun doing.Ignore me if this has been posted....
If I'm not mistaken, FCP participated in the first couple of these...yep... came in 9th in the 1st event and 2nd in the 2nd... with kuge coming in 3rd individually in event 2... I dont think we ever got the $400 freeroll either..

I have what will probably be considered a stupid security question, but....no one is nervous about having to input everything needed to access their PStars account on this page?

Hi FCP,Wolf here, owner of Online Forum Challenge. First, I would like to address the fact that you never got to play the freeroll you won. Since OFC began, 70 forum prizes have been awarded. I ask you this...do any of you think I could stay in business if the prizes weren't awarded. EVERY WINNING FORUM PRIZE has been available for collection. To the best of my knowledge, only 3 have been uncollected, while the other 67 have been awarded and played.Email notification of the PokerStars contact info to set this event up was sent to FCP Admin. NO response from them. Not sure why they never set this up. Not fair to you players at all. They have had almost a year, now, but I can probably still set this up. I just need the FCP Admin to contact me at admin@onlineforumchallenge.com.Furthermore, I personally spoke to the FCP Dir. of Marketing at the WSOP Lifestyle Show this last year. I wanted to set up events at FCP, but he "was out of business cards" and wouldn't write down his contact info down for me.Needless to say, my experience with FCP execs has been less than dignified. Never bothered to really contact them again, as I have more poker sites interested in holding events than I can facilitate on a monthly basis. Not worth my time to be ignored if you know what I mean. Again, not fair to you, the player. I will try again, and we can see if we can all get together and have a good tournament on FCP.I hope to see some of you on the Final Table of the WSOOF Main Event. Thank you for participating and best of luck to you all!WolfOwnerOFC

This is pretty important, I would love to see that freeroll back in action. Stakeaments are always fun, and this freeroll should be just as sweet if the admins can help it out

Players need to understand that Wolf is being a bit disingenuous here as he fails to mention that the whole reason for the OFC is to generate affiliate revenue that he shares in for the forums that take part. There isn’t anything wrong with that but FCP isn’t an affiliate driven forum that drives traffic to other online sites so he shouldn’t expect us to co-operate in generating business for him.

Hi Bob, Please do not say that I am being "disingenuous" when you have never taken the time to simply communicate with me and understand how my events work. If you are going to label or describe someone in a negative aspect, I think you should at least have some factual knowledge if you wish your opinion to be credible. In the 14 events I have done so far, I have made about $200 in affiliate revenue. The poker sites pay me a facilitation fee to make these events happen, not affiliate revenue. One of the main goals of my events is to help the affiliates generate revenue, because when they make money, they promote my events. This is why there are no gaming affiliate links on the home page of OFC, and also why I give the forums advance notice of events. Although this does not fit what you are doing, please understand that my income does not come from affiliate revenue. Here is how the process works:1. I set up an event with a poker site.2. I tell the forum admins a week in advance before I open pre-registration, telling them to get their affiliate acct. set up, or to update their banners if they already have one. 3. I open pre-registration. Forums tell their members about the event. Members use the forum affiliate links if they do not have an account yet. 4. I give the pre-registration list to the poker site, and only those players are eligible to play.5. Everyone has a great time. Players get value added tournaments, Forums can make affiliate revenue and win prizes that their members get to take part in, and the Poker Site gets a bunch of traffic. I get paid a facilitation fee to make it all happen. I understand that FCP is not an affiliate driven site. I understand why you might not want your players to go somewhere else. Please know that by not rewarding your players with something that they have won can make me look bad. Just be honest. tell them that you aren't going to give them their freeroll because it is on another site, but don't just ignore them and pretend that it is someone else's fault. What I don't understand is why you have no interest in simply talking to me about bringing thousands of players from hundreds of affiliates to FCP by hosting an OFC Event. If you would like to talk about bringing all of this traffic to FCP, email me with a phone number and a good time to call you.Again, for those of you that play in the WSOOF, I wish you the very best of luck!WolfOFC

Well, you can still win the tournament itself for a WSOP package, or cash depending on where you finish. We still haven't gotten in the top 20 either :club:.
