freak2304 0
I'm definately up for this again. After having great "season" play, I went out in the 1st round of the "playoffs". Plus, I look forward to busting zsta again AIPF with A7 vs his AA. My only suggestion that I had last time (which I'm sure is still not possible) is if we could somehow weight the starting chip count by "season" finish in the 2nd round so there's a point to playing better in the 1st round. Hope to see/beat you all once this starts.

zsta2k6 0
Cool! What month/date did this take place during the first time? This was held over 2 months, October and November last year I'm definately up for this again. After having great "season" play, I went out in the 1st round of the "playoffs". Plus, I look forward to busting zsta again AIPF with A7 vs his AA. I still hate you. My only suggestion that I had last time (which I'm sure is still not possible) is if we could somehow weight the starting chip count by "season" finish in the 2nd round so there's a point to playing better in the 1st round. Hope to see/beat you all once this starts.still something that is up in the air... really all it would take is 2 hands of setup right at the start... but we'll see...Just to help people decide... here are the buyin amounts...Low - $50Mid - $125High - $250also, the high is flexible, if people want a bigger buyin, I'll accomidate, but the low is the absolute lowest it can go, and I'd like the mid to hover around half the high buyin, although $125 is about perfect IMOtake me about another hour or three, but I'll post the rules sheet yet... stay tuned

In the event the players have the same amount of chips when eliminated, the players will take the average of the points awarded. For example, with four players left, two players with the same amount of chips are knocked out, the players will each be awarded 3rd place for 4 points (3rd + 4th, divided by 2).In the preliminary - In the event two or more players have the same amount of points, the tiebreakers will be as follows1. Wins2. 2nd place finishes3. 3rd place finishes4. 4th place finishes5. Head to head place (place in groups where matches were played together)In the event the players are still tied after these tiebreakers, and the final playoff spot is on the line, a tiebreaking match will take place. If A playoff spot is not involved, a tiebreaking match is optional, and may be played by the tied players if they wish. Tiebreak matches must be played the weekend prior to the playoffs.Substitutions:One substitution will be allowed during the preliminary stage. I must be notified by email or PM at least one hour before the match or your substitute will not be allowed to compete.Match Switching:Players will be allowed to trade matches within a week in the event a player cannot make a particular date. Trades must be in by 12:00AM PST the day of the match. A finalized match roster will be posted in the thread at about 10AM every day for all three divisions. Walk up switches for no shows will not be permitted. No-shows:No shows will not be taken lightly this year. We will follow the three strike rule this year. There are match switching and substitution rules for a reason. It is understandable that things happen, however multiple offenses will not be tolerated.No-show #1: You will be warned.No-show #2: You will lose 10 points, $10 of your buyins will not be refunded, and you will be deemed inelgible for the consolation tournament, if there is one.No-show #3: You will lose 20 points, you will have no buyins refunded, you will be deemed inelgible for the playoffs, and will not be allowed to compete in the next fcp superstars. All non refunded buyins will be added to the consolation tournament, in the case there is no consolation tournament, buyins will be added to the champions payout. Also, a no-show in the last week of the tournament will count as two no-shows, the last week is the most critical, and giving away points because someone does not show up is not an option. If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact me at FCPsuperstars@gmail.com, or pm me (zsta2k6)Registration will open very soon, and will be available on the FCP Superstars website, http://home.comcast.net/~zsta2k5all new details are edited into the OP as well

zsta2k6 0
okay.... before I open registration... well... preregistration... after all, we are 3 months away from the start.. we all need to figure out what the hell we are going to do as far as paying the buy in. Who holds it, where it is held, etc... because we are talking about a hell of a lot of money, and I don't really want to be held liable for such a large amount. so... any ideas? at the very least, I was thinking about like a paypal account... but I really dont trust paypal either... so... ideas? Or am I not reading this correctly? You aren't reading it correctly. Those are the payouts for each round along the way. So you can (just making up the numbers here) win $40, then $40 more, then $80 more then $160 more as you advance through each round.
r0llin_game 2
i'm in the low buyin!um we can create a name on stars and just hold the moneys in there, maybe even ask support if someone can create an extra acct for that?
