Yahkin 0
29 Left - 18 get paid, but 10-18 is chump change. My stack is just enough that I could likely fold to the chump change.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)MP2 (t20355)MP3 (t8656)CO (t12505)Button (t9445)Hero (t7922)BB (t5605)UTG (t7990)UTG+1 (t1720)MP1 (t7112)Preflop: Hero is SB with 8, 8. 2 folds, MP1 raises to t800, 4 folds, Hero calls t600, BB calls t400.Flop: (t2000) 7, 5, 9(3 players)Hero bets t2000, BB raises to t4780, MP1 folds, Hero ??Is a probe bet more appropriate here? This flop did not scare me at all as I put the others on overs.Even if he showed me an overpair before I acted, at 3-1 this is still a call...right?
Zach6668 513
I think being OOP, you should reraise this preflop.

You want top 3 in 4.40s so its good to build a stack, if u put him on overs then shove to his re-raise. Altho could be the AA minraise i see far too often in these 4.40s...even at the 10/20blind level...

In that case i 'spose A9/K9 might be his range and also 77/55 would make this play as well as would the flush draw and you're behind all of these hands (the flush draw is like to have at least one over so ud be a marginal favourite.) This is a really marginal spot, i probably use my entire timebank then call against A9 and spike a 6....
rog 0
I like the PF re-raise idea, but honestly, I probably flat call like you did.On the flop, I lead for less, or check and see what happens. I don't want to commit myself by leading for too much OOP.
NEtwowilldo 0
The BB is all in, so you're getting the right pot odds to call.
Yahkin 0
I called his push and villain turns over 99 with a set.
copernicus 0
Betting less on the flop would make this an easier fold and still price out flush draws with one over, and you cant price out the 15 out draw.If you are behind to an overpair youve barely got calling odds. If you are ahead now, you still might be facing a 15 out draw. I really would put him on A9 or a set though and fold reluctantly.
