I'm saying a 100 chip bet gives us the most information, isn't being too rough on our stack and effectively helps us sniff out draws or overpairs to the board. If no one has anything they will prob just fold to our 100 chip bet too. Giving up the lead by checking isn't very smart.
a 100 chip bet gives calling odds to anything including 2 overcards, it gives you no information at all and doesnt look any stronger than a check so it doesnt inhibit a steal raise...in fact it may encourage it because the pot is a little more worthwhile to steal.

We do get information with a 100 chip bet, how can we not? Lets say we bet 100, someone goes allin, now what do we put him on? 99-QQ. They raise you to 300. What does that mean? Possible draw, possibly the 8 raising to see where he stands. A call may mean slowplaying the 7, or drawing. What do you mean "You can't get information from a 100 chip bet?" And what overcards are we worried about other than an ace? We want overcards to call that bet.

Every one of those actions after a check gives you the exact same reads (though I disagee that a draw would raise to 300), and also increases the possibility of a steal raise. And yes, we want a naked Ace to call...but thats about the only hand we want to call.

You give up the lead for a steal bet. Hmm not sure which one is the better trade-off. Yeah the draw raising to 300 is the way I play :club:

So you intentionally outprice your own draws? That cannot be a winning strategy unless you are playing with deep enough stacks and bad enough players that you make up for it with implied odds. Don't try it at higher buyins!

Basically when someone in a 5 dollar SNG checks, then minraises, they are basically telling you, I flopped the nuts. The SB has a seven, accept it and move on to the next hand.
