David_Nicoson 1
Text of BillThis looks like more than a repeal of the UIGEA. If I'm reading this right, this would allow US-based internet casinos. Here's a fun section:Appropriate safeguards to combat compulsive Internet gambling.

FourFlusher 0
Here's the problem. Banks hated us using their cards for online gambling. If it wasn't for the part about the banks regulating this new bill, they would prolly have sponsored it. Too many people lost their money and put in fraud claims against the cards, or challenged the charge. If they repeal or change the current law, banks still might not allow it when they catch it being used to play poker. Many banks had already stopped before the bill. Neteller got around it...but, are they going to rebound after so many people lost money there? I dunno.
Webslayer 0
Am I the only one not looking forward to any bill passing to reverse the UIGEA?I have this bad feeling they are going to tax the **** out of everyone and put too many regulations on it that it won't be worth playing.
