He already is the best of all time. Just ask him now. After this tournament he will still call himself the best of all time if he wins or not.

Zeatrix 0
Actually in an interview in the Swedish magazine Poker Magazine he actually admits that he isn't complete until he wins a WPT.
Dr_Shakes 0
What do you think the odds are of him winning it at this point?5-1? Just throwing a number out there. What do you guys think would be fair odds for a bet?
Zeatrix 0
With 54 players still left and Hellmuth as the chipleader I'd give him 10-
PhilBluff 0
Well if you factor out the luck, hes gonna win it tomorrow.
CobaltBlue 662
With 54 players still left and Hellmuth as the chipleader I'd give him 10-1I think that's a little too generous, but it's somewhat close. There are roughly 32m chips in play. He has 1.8m. If we give him an "average" chance to win, he's 18-1 with that percentage of chips. That said, we can probably give him "he's Hellmuth" and CL bumps...so I'd put him at 12-1...particularly with the field still so "large".No way I'd take him at a mere 5-1. gmanshade 0
With 54 players still left and Hellmuth as the chipleader I'd give him 10-1I think he's 3-1 or 4-1 to make the TV final table. in terms of winning it, everyone will have such a low M at the FT that at point he's only slightly better than even money unless he has a really enormous chip leadbut i'm rooting for him. go phil!!!!!!p.s. for people giving me crap about pro player, you should try the drink before you knock it. i had one last night while playing a HU sng on stars and it was damn good. memphis-sc 0
how come they would stop play for the night with 11 minutes left in level 15 (per Cardplayer.com). Why not just play out the level and start level 16 first thing tomorrow? is this normal?
astros11ss 0
i will also owe wandigo $20 on a 4:1 bet he offered me with 75 people left that hellmuth would win... lol easymoneyaments

Why not just play out the level and start level 16 first thing tomorrow? is this normal? The Bellagio events draw a card to determine how many more hands will be played on a given day. This excellent idea is a variation on hand-for-hand play to prevent stalling "to make the next day" or "move up a spot in the money."

And I'll take 14-1 on him winning the event.$30 on Stars? Why would anyone take the 14-1 bet?He has 1/18th of the chips and the chip lead. Even if he is no better than average against the rest of the field this is probably worth 14/1.Considering how much Hellmuth wants to be on TV, the 5-1 might be even worse.Youve got to really hate Hellmuth to take a bet with odds that poor.
