One of two things is probably going on here:1) Villain realizes you've represented strength in this hand and doesn't think you'll lay it down. This means you're beat.2) Villain is an uber-donk and couldn't care less what you have and just wants paid. He has you beat.Best case scenario is that you're up against an overplayed ace high flush draw, which isn't THAT great of a situation. And I doubt that's it.
simo_8ball 0
I don't like the reraise preflop tbh.I might check the flop, but betting is more standard.I think you need to fold to the shove, but I hate it.
SweetDaddyFreak 0
I'd be pissed, but fold is right more times than wrong
BeaverStyle 1
I play JJ for set value here, or try to get to showdown as cheaply as possible. I don't reraise preflop here... there aren't many flops you like against a guy who will call another 500 oop...As played preflop, you have 1/2 your stack invested... and you got c/r'd all in. You're behind here A LOT, fold. (1/2 your stack in and you have to fold, hence the flaw in your line)How I would have played it:smooth call the preflop raise.Depending on his flop bet/check, I'd either raise or call, raising probably gets you more information, but I don't hate calling to keep the pot small. Actuary 3
this early, I'd call preflop.UTG 4x raise is strong.
copernicus 0
The preflop raise is too big or too small..either raise to 1k to avoid giving anyone 2:1 calling odds or call and play to isolate a reraiser or for set value if its called around.I would probably fold to the flop raise because even if its a semibluff it may be as strong as AKd and those huge draws are no fun to be up against, plus there are the Q hands where youre already behind.
