Pokergolf 0
I've been trying to pre register for one of the prelim events. I go thru the entire form from the wsop website and when I complete it I am told I will receive an email with a pre registraiton form and further instructions. I never get the email. Today I called the number on the website and the lady who answered the phone didn't speak English very well, so I am doubting she will be much help. I want to pay by cashiers check. Anybody do this? Anybody have a blank pre registration form that they would be willing to email me? I can provide an email in a PM if someone can help. Thanks.
DCJ001 0
I'm not sure why you're having a problem. I have not completed the form, but here's a link for it:https://wsopprereg.harrahs.com/WSOPRegistra...re-RegistrationPre-registration should not be necessary. I know that it's a lot of money, but I recommend bringing cash in person, if you're comfortable with it.

Pokergolf 0
Events don't sell out? If there is no worry of that I have no problem paying when I get out there. Thanks for the replies.

Thanks for the replies.Jeffrey Pollack, the WSOP commissioner, was recently interviewed and he said that they'll be prepared for more people this year than last year. I think that they had 200 tables running last year and Pollack said that they'll have about 220 at a time running this year.

I could be wrong though. Either way, they can't refuse your buyin. The Gaming Commission won't let them cap open events.

The Gaming Commission won't let them cap open events. You're right. The tournament plans to build a structure beside the host Rio casino-hotel in Las Vegas and increase the number of tables to 258, Pollack said. That would be enough to allow more than 3,000 players to play in each of the first three days of the main event. http://www.pahrumpvalleytimes.com/2007/Mar...s/13328699.html

13CARDS 0
The Gaming Commission won't let them cap open events.ORLY? So if 20,000 people show up for a $1500 event they will re-arrange the schedule so everyone can play? Hmmmmm........EDIT: http://dps.twiihosting.net/wsop/doc/content/doc_591_58.pdf6. Harrah's may limit the number of entries into any WSOP event and may award entriesinto any event through any means it deems appropriate. mx957 0
I did the pre-registration. It worked as advertised for me.1) Fill out the website form2) wait for the email (Took 4 days for me to get the email)3) wire the money and fax the signed form back in (this is where you'd send the cashier's check)I didn't have any problems. Are you sure your spam filter isn't catching the email? Maybe you mistyped your email address? Just a couple of thoughts. Good luck.
rgold79 0
I'm considering pre-registering only for the first event I'm playing ($1500 NL on Sat. June 9). From what I've heard the open registration lines can get very long and the pre-registration line is separate and usually not much of a wait. However, I'm probably going to get into Vegas on the 7th so I can always just buy in for the tournament right when I get there and not have to worry about waiting. Does anyone know if the registration window is 24 hrs?

suicideking 0
Although it would be impossible, if one were to play all the events, it would cost nearly 200K. Yowza.
