In general, I don't mind it because, unless the villian is a complete donk, you will be able to better define your hand and their's. Its rare though that you'll get action from a worse hand, so if you get played back at you will have to dump it. Link to post Share on other sites

If we take this line and he calls, we typically have to put him in on most turns. If he pushes...well, you've defined your hand pretty well...so it'd seem you'd have to be beat (especially with the board being so light on draws)...but you'll definitely see donks shove with A9 in this spot.
