Hello all. Im kinda new here but have been lurking a whileI was just wondering if anyone has played at any of the casinos in Oklahoma. I recently moved to Amarillo Tx so I guess I could go west to New Mexico. Any rate I just moved here from LA and prefer playing live. So if anyone knows any good places let me know please.

Cherokee Casino in Tulsa has decent tourneys. There is Winstar just across the border with 1/2, 2/5 and up & 100 tourneys. We have plenty of "private" games in Dallas... PM me for details.

I play at Lucky Star in El Reno (West Central, OK, off of I-40) A man and his son come from Amarillo almost every weekend to play. Pretty solid players, but overall, the play there is terrible. About an hour further south is Riverwind, in Norman, its new and very nice...probably tougher players....Cherokee in Tulsa is by far the best, but an extra 2 hr drive for you...Id probably go to New Mexico if I were you, but give Lucky Star a chance, I think youll like it.GLEd

I played in a casino in oklahoma once about a year ago...I forget the city , but it is near Fort Smrith....2/5 was the biggest game they had going. It was like huge deal for them to have a 2/5 game too because we had a buncha railbirds....Easy,Easy,Easy game....it was absolutely ridiculous...Thank you Oklahoma for the new ipod, oakleys, the strippers in Dallas, all the beer, truck payment, and everything I else you provided me with by your "big game"...

there are easy games at riverwind in norman, cherokee and creek casinos in tulsa, lucky star in el reno, or firelake in a city east of norman, i forget the name. All these casinos are easy to get to and have easy games, however, if you would like bigger games and more people go to cherokee or riverwind, luckystar, firelake, and creek have small poker rooms and there is sometimes a 5/10 or 10/20 game at riverwind and sometimes at newcastle casino in newcastle....winstar is your best bet though because its right across the border on I 35

Well I'm not sure how pretty you want your casino to be, but there is a decent poker scene at Kaw Nation Casino right by Ponca City. It's basically a bunch of big trailers pushed together, but the have a decent sized poker room. Also I'd try Seven Clans Casino which I believe is a half hour south of Ponca City.
