grocery_mony 8
What makes this guy so good in todays age of so many knowledgable tournament players? I would be intrested in hearing what JC Alvarado' observations on him are. Truly dominating last 10 months or so for him. Didnt he also win the WCOOP ME aswell?

uahphysics 0
so sick.Think he'll have as good of a year as Daniel had in '04?
navybuttons 15
Think he'll have as good of a year as Daniel had in '04?yes he's playing good. but he's seriously running so effin ridiculously hot right now (probably by his own admission), and tourneys are such high variance that he could easily go ICE COLD tomorrow and bust first in his next 3 tourneys.i'd bet he doesn't win another tourney for the rest of 2007 for $100 if you lay me 4:1. (buy-in $5000+)
PrtyPSux 0
JC Tran is the best no limit tournament player there is right now and its hardly debatable, he's TOO Sick. With that credit given, I'd also like to add that he's running sicker than anyone, he spikes 3 outers like its his job and doesn't even sweat with races. Anyone playing that good and is running that sick is pretty much unstopable.

UncleCollins 0
If he continues at this rate for a few more months it's gonna be almost impossible for anyone to catch him in the POTY race. Such a sick, sick man.

getarealjob 0
Merely, running well? hahahahahRiiiiiiight; he's obviously catching cards, but don't minimize his skills. He's probably the best no-limit hold'em tournament player on the market right now.We got a bunch of poker's version of Salieri on this forum.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonio_Salieri
wisky_VI 0
I read that he chopped it heads up based on chipcount but gave the other guy and extra 4k to assure himself of winning for the POTY points.

SilentButDeadly3 0
Here's a thought....JC Tran now has won (at least) 2 entries into the WPT championship. One from winning this $3k event and one from winning the $5k event in Reno. So what does he do with the extra entry?stakeaments?
