Willing 2 Die 0
Don't get me wrong, from everything i've heard about Shannon he seems like a great guy and one pro that i root for. But, i found this quote from his blog interesting. Bellagio released it's schedule yesterday for this summer's Bellagio Cup. As if there wasn't already enough poker to be played, Bellagio has put together a full list of 1500 dollar plus buy-in NLHE tournaments running everyday alongside the WSOP. Now I'm guaranteed not to have one off day for every single day in June, yuck. It's going to be a grind, but I feel like I'm a big favorite to come out of this summer with a half-million dollars minimum in cashes.
cwik 0
If you go into a tournament series not expect to make money, you should not consider yourself a poker pro.

Omaha Hi/Lo 0
He ripped that tournament a new azzhole last year... he knows nothing else but victory when it comes to The Bellagio Cup. What do you want him to expect?

showstopper24 0
I have read his blog recently. He does seem like a terrific guy that has been in a slump lately. I think he will get a couple of big cashes this summer (he has been close to the money in most of the Bellagio tournaments lately and he thinks the big score is right around the corner). KappaKid83 0
Shannon is personally my favorite young player, besides the Ship It Holla Ballas for obvious money wasting and women banging reasons. I respect him a lot for coming out and saying the things he does in his blog, and he will make a big score, hes that good.Jeff

jburn812 0
Maybe you should start counting chickens before their hatched and you might become a pro raking in over one million dollars in one year on the wpt. Not trying to bash on you but you should not try to disrespect Shannon. The guy is an amazing poker player as well as all around good guy. He took the time out of his schedule to talk to me and offer me some tips about the game. He also set me up in a home game here at the University of Alabama where he used to attend college. Anyone who would do that for another guy even while still playing professional poker is just a winner in my book. The big cash is on its way I have no doubt about that.
