zach, did he do a good job with the conversion?do you have any stud advice?i don't get this hand at all. why call on 3rd? why raise 4th? you're bluff can't successfully represent anything.this seems like the biggest spew to me.

Defending the bring-in with a live pair + Ace is fine. We're only getting 4-1 immediately(7-1 to hit on 4th), but it's only half a small bet, and there might be some nice payout if we play OK past 4th.I'm with buttons on 4th though. We can't even pretend we're on a flush draw, there's absolutely no point in raising without a read. It's not 3-handed/HU(as in from the start), Queens are live, and now even calling for 1 SB is dubious.

Call on 3rd is okay for half price. Coinflip vs. QQx on 3rd. 4th is spew...just check/call, the pot is big enough to chase against QQ. as played just fold 5th.

Your bluff is not representing anything. You should fold the pair of 3's on 3rd street first of all. When you raise on 4th when the 10 comes, what are you trying to say, i have 10's and 3's, i have 10's in the hole and just made trips? If you did, you would have raised on 3rd street instead of called.Granted, most stud players at this level are not doing an in depth analysis, but no way do i call this on third street, and i fold on 4th street if i mis clicked on 3rd. When you by a miracle make A's and 3's, yeah i dont know, you can maybe raise him?

The call on third is textbook fine.I agree with the others - WTH are you doing on 4th? Why did he complete on third and lead out on 4th? He's very likely at least splits Qs here, or maybe a bigger wired pair. Your T is not going to scare him - maybe raising if you caught a K on 4th would have slowed him down. Should be folding to his bet on 4th (in the absence of any other bets in the pot on 3rd to pump your odds). On 5th, even though you raised him on 4th and have now caught an A, he still leads out with the dreaded paired doorcard. This screams trip Qs. If you insist on playing it out I don't think it's a raising situation. If you did have a read to indicate he would over play any 2 pair, then call down since you've hit As up, but in the absence of that, I suspect loose raises on 4th street could be a factor with your running bad lately.
