You guys can pay this bet off? There are four hearts on the board, at best you are tying, at worst you are throwing money away.
It's $150 worth of information for $25.If we were paying 3 to a flush at the turn, why not pay 4 to a flush at the river?

i don't think you should have called the bet on the flop
You didn't say how this Villain responds to aggression, I think you need to make a decision one way or the other. Calling is, IMO, the worst choice. You're not getting odds to hit your gutshot and your overcards are weak outs at best. You're looking at maybe a 5 out draw. You need to either fold on the flop as Garn said, or raise his little feeler bet to get some info and take control of the hand. Even a raise on the turn would get you some info on whether he's already there or not. It might not change much with this particular hand (meaning he still might call down and win with a small heart or chop), but making a habit of passively calling down your opponent with weak draws is just giving away your money hoping to get lucky.

Calling for information alone falls into the same category as betting for information alone.

Value betting is the new bluffing. If there's no flush, we win. A set makes this bet. Top two make this bet. (Neither is likely to have a flush). A blank makes this bet. Overs make this bet. If this is a flush value bet, so be it. But we're getting what ... 7:1 or so?And if villain has a flush, we now know how he plays made hands. If not, we learned something AND scooped a nice pot.
