Dealing With Stake-me Trolls

Pertend that you are a "stake-me" troll.

  1. 1. You are broke and want to troll for money in a poker forum where "stake me" threads are strictly prohibited. Should you:

    • Go ahead and post your "stake-me" thread: it is the first necessary step in your goal to TP/MM

    • Go get a job in the real world and sign up to gamblers anonymous

    • Send a mysterious forum member detailed personal information (which they say is necessary to transfer the money) putting yourself at risk for identity theft

    • Go for a walk and contemplate life. While on that walk, discover an incredibly clever way to prevent male pattern baldness. Market your new "hair shield" product on late night infomercials and make brazillions. Retire to a tropical paridise with dozens of naked, sexy women.

I am curious about the life and motivations of a "stake-me" troll, so I have created this poll. Perhaps later, I will create a poll which studies the motivations of the "New thread/useless polls" trolls. It would appear that I have a more intimate knowledge of the motivations of the "New thread/Useless poll" troll.

Actually, I have...I was just amused (and annoyed) at a "stake me" thread that I just read. Immediatly after reading it, I created this poll, and when I went back to the original thread, it was... ...gone!The FCP moderators are excellent. Good show! I'm glad to see that the "stake me" thread didn't last as long as it took for me to create this poll.

People requesting a stake or $$$ swap should be banned for a few days to discourage future requests. Otherwise, they'll continue. Shouldn't someone have thought of this before now?

If you need to be staked in a $1.20 sit and go you are probally not a good investment. My advice is to play those crappy freeroll tourneys and get very lucky.
Pretty sure Barack__Obama used to make New Topics about those on Full Tilt as well.

I voted for the last one... but I don't agree that the girls should ALWAYS be naked.I would allow them to wear bra and panties occasionally, just so that I can rip them off. mmmmmm.... panties :club:

I couldn't vote in the poll since the option I would vote for wasn't there.Anyone want to stake me for a couple of the $160 double shootouts? details:If I win a seat, the staker gets 1K transfered to there Stars account since I won't be taking the hotel room and they would get 50% of any cash I won in the ME.sw just in case

Sounded like a pretty good deal to me. I was just about to make the transfer then saw the sw. Dang. Can't win for losing.sw

yeah its kind of moronic. btw i was just wondering if someone could stake me for the sunday million. ive never played a MTT over a $10 buy in, but im kind of a big deal. if i cash ill give you back half of the original stake. THANKS
