pokerfan1080 0
Week 2 update:Scratch all the gains for the month, back to even and that was after a weekend of playing really well in order to recover about 3 buyins at $25nl.Been playing alot of poker in the am, and not doing well. Competition is much different, opponents use moves that I thought would be -ev, but keep out-drawing me and killing me.I think I'll stick to the pm game times.

You're playing against drunk Scandinavians. Good luck trying to keep the variance down.

Abbaddabba 0
While we're on the topic, i just bought my first place two days ago.LIsting was $205,000, and after the first day, there were already like 4 offers. My original bid was list price, but everyone else basically did the same since when you compare it to other comparable units, it's worth at least 10k more.We revised our offer to $210,500 and as of yesterday, i own it. I move in june 22nd, which means i may or may not be going to vegas for the wsop. Here are two pics from the listing, and the building (front right),

bdc30 0
Holy fk. Don't take offense abba, and I KNOW what the toronto real estate market is, and how nice those buildings are, but 210,500 sure doesn't get you a whole lot there does it??
mrdannyg 274
While we're on the topic, i just bought my first place two days ago.congrats abba - that is a pretty fantastic location.on a completely unrelated note, looks like i'm going to be in toronto from about the 8th-18th of august, during the Ex. i wish i knew some torontonians who wanted to go down to the casino a couple days, and maybe had a couch to crash on

Don't take offense abba, and I KNOW what the toronto real estate market is, and how nice those buildings are, but 210,500 sure doesn't get you a whole lot there does it??it is kind of crazy, since a very nice house where i'm living goes for around $150,000. considering the area, the fact its a new building, and everything else, seems like abba's place should be a pretty friggin good investment. then again, i'm no expert.
