Hotel Deals In Las Vegas

Recommended Posts

yeah i went to that site Allvegaspoker.com, and saw the poker room rates, and most of those are wrong. I personally spoke with ppl from many of those casinos and not once did i receive a room price quote enven near those estimates. I wanted to ask if anyone here knew better places to find good deals on a hotel room hopefully on the strip somewhere. Thanks

I recently got my Harrah's May, June, and July rate pamphlet which has rates for Harrah's, Bally's, Flamingo, Rio, and Paris. If you're interested in any of those hotels in those months let me know and I can help you out.

For flights+hotels, I've always got the best price from expedia.com. They usually have really good deals, especially at the Imperial Palace for some reason. Almost anytime of the year I can get roundtrip airfare out of Indiananpolis and 4 nights there for under $500, went this past November and paid $346.

Just got back from Vegas. Stayed at the Wynn during the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games and got their poker room rate of 199 a night on the weekend. Pretty sweet deal. Tons of action at the Wynn poker room. G'luck.

Paying anymore than $100/night is just silly in Vegas, you hardly spend any time in the room if you're havin a good time. You can find good deals at the dives like Barbary Coast and Imperial Palace. If youre willing to stay at the far north end of the strip, you can go with Sahara (good nightly poker tourneys).

Just like I've said so many times..... Imperial Palace is the best deal for the location and the price anywhere. Here's your best bet....Use the Casino Gold special at IP.Then use either Southwest or Ted (United's Discount Airline). Or any other cheap airline you can find, and with those two in the right combination, you should be able to beat anything you can find on Expedia. And if you can't, then I agree, expedia is the best that i've seen.

thanks guys...i am still searchingI dont need a flight, however, as I am flying in to see a couple buddies in LA and we are driving from there to LVthe cheapest on the strip hat I have found yet was Circus for 145 a night Fri and Sat. IP is more than that, which suprises me as well. I remember back i July during the WSOP I got Fri and Sat at The Mirage for 125 a night, no poker rate or anything, and through the mirage website no less!...i wonder how that happened

No it's not. Use the special link I just gave you.Call them up and ask for that special. 65/wk and 85/wknd.And Circus is a shithole and hardly on the strip.

Call Caesars and talk to one of the poker room managers. Do some sweet talking and they'll usually hook you up with a good poker rate. Like $49 a night. Also I once called Caesars AC and told them I had received a mailing from them offering me a free comped room, and that I wanted to redeem it that night. The woman couldn't find it in the system but promised me she'd make a note of it. An hour later I called back and Caesars was like, "Oh! We see you have a comp for a free room on your account, of course you can redeem it tonight!" I love AC.

I tried the IP again, I mentioned that special and they told me it does not apply on the weekend im going to be there (april 20-22)It seems there is a gold tournament and an accountants convention or something with 112k people visiting the city...maybe that is why all the rooms are ridiculously expensive

Oh weak. Sorry.I couldn't book was May 5th, cause of the Derby and De La Hoya fight. But only cause they had saturday only open to people who booked friday with it. So we're going the 7th instead. But if it's such a busy weekend, you'll probably hit resistance everywhere.

Too bad you couldn't get this cause it is a hell of a deal and right in the middle of everything.

This might be a stretch, as I haven't contacted him in a couple years now, but there is (or used to be) a great casino host at the Flamingo named Bob Herrod who always hooked my friends and I up (usually for bachelor parties) with a group "gambler's rate" of $99 on weekends, $59 during the week (of course, that was a bit ago). Don't know if he's still there, especially since Harrah's bought them out, but if he is, he's definitely worth a call anyway, particularly if you've got a group: 800-732-2111.BTW, the pool gets serious eye candy on the weekends, and you obviously can't beat the location (central Strip). :club: Good luck and let me know if anyone has success.

That's a great deal, thanks! I'll definitely check it out. Last time I went to Vegas I stayed at Caesars, but feel like I wasted money since I was almost never there.Actually, if you're really REALLY cheap, you can get a bunk bed in a dorm at a youth hostel for 19 bucks. When I tried it a few years ago, I stayed in one that was in the most godforsaken run-down rat's-*ss sh*t-hole of a neighborhood on East Fremont Street...I probably walked right by Stu Ungar's crackhouse and didn't even know it. LOL!

I am also going April 20-22.....and I also had trouble finding anything very cheap. I guess this explains it. I got a room at the Luxor for 169/night. I just wanted something a step above dive on the strip. Pyramid will do. Flights were also expensive....but I found some decent non-stops out of Miami on American.
