"gambling Interests Spend Millions In Lobbying"

Recommended Posts

Of course they do. The casino lobby was behind Frist pushing that stupid bill through. And now that they stopped the bleeding (sort of) of American dollars going to the overseas companies, they'll redirect their lobbying money into getting on-line gambling legalized in America. Then they'll steal all of the customers that those overseas companies served in good faith. It's absolutely disgusting how this BS goes on in our government, and yet people still vote for Democrats and Republicans in the false hopes that any of them will ever make a difference. It's almost laughable how lobbyists and politicians buy and sell our rights every day, and most Americans swallow every spoonful that's forced into their mouth.

agreed. The other thing that really has been annoying me lately is that everyone blaming the immigrants for the tax issues, when in reality it is all the people overcharging the government on just about every contract it has aka haliburton.

But overcharging the government is as American as Apple Pie.Money isn't static, when the government spends it it generates more money for themselves.I think I read somewhere that for every $1 the government spends, it makes $14 in taxes. Or maybe that's for every dollar they print...something that makes my point, whatever.
