Las Vegas, Nv Casino/resort Conern

Recommended Posts

While I understand it may be poor etiquette, will I be approached by security and asked to leave the casino floor if I am cutting though and under 21 years of age (19 or 20)? Please understand I have no intent of approaching any tables or slots to place a bet or observe, solely cut through the floor headed to an entrance/exit, etc. This concern is specifically in regards to Las Vegas, NV casinos/resorts.Thanks

Before I turned 21, I walked through Vegas casinos all the time with my friends en route to movie theatres, restaurants, shows etc. No one will give you a problem unless you go near a slot machine or a gaming table, and by 'go near' I mean stop and stand near one or sit at one.

and even if you play, you likely won't get carded unless you look 12

i didnt see ANYONE get carded for ANYTHING the whole week i was in vegas this summer
You weren't looking hard enough. When I was 20 and visiting I played about 20 hours of poker and table games at 3 different casinos(MGM Grand being the most visited). Since turning 21 I have been carded at least 3 times a day. I get carded sitting down, carded when I get a drink, and I was even carded minding my own business drinking in the sportsbook at MGM. I swear, It's a huge hassle. Just stay in the designated walkways and you'll never get carded. There are thousands of young children who pull it off all the time with no problem.
