Per the NHL, Mark Arcobello (EDM/NAS/PIT/ARZ) became the second NHL player to record points with four teams in one season.

I think it's pretty amazing that it's before the trade deadline

My boy just scores wherever he goes, whoever he plays with.

Leaning on good linemates is for sissies like Kessel.

Steve Montador found dead. Real sad.

been some conflicting reports about cause of death. Some saying appears to be natural causes and others hinting at suicide. I guess we'll know after the autopsy

"Cluster suicides" are a real phenomenon. The hockey community needs to take time to reach out to those who may need to hear from a friend.

Patrick Burke makes a valid point.

The draft order seems a little complicated. Stanley cup winner picks 30. Then Its confusing, based on playoff success?

I'm hoping we get 25 or better

He was a monster out there...his first hit on his first shift was voted as the hit of the game. Enjoyed watching him a lot.

Was that the hit behind the net? I didn't see the game, but I saw a gif of that hit.

Still hard to understand:

Entry Draft Order

The order of selection among the Member Clubs in each season shall be determined in the following manner:

A composite of all Member Clubs shall be prepared by placing:

i) First the Clubs which failed to qualify for the preceding playoffs in the order of points earned by each of them in the regular schedule of the preceding season starting with the Club having the lowest points total and followed by the Club having the next lowest points total, and so forth.

ii) The Clubs which participated in the preceding playoffs (but had not been ranked first in their respective Divisions and had not won the Stanley Cup that season) in order of points earned by each of them in the regular schedule of the preceding season starting with the Club having the lowest total points and followed by the Club having the next lowest total points, and so forth.

iii) The Clubs which had been ranked first in their Divisions during the next preceding season (but had not won the Stanley Cup that season) in the order of points earned by each of them in the regular schedule of the preceding season starting with the Club having the lowest total points and followed by the Club having the next lowest total points, and so forth.

iv) The Stanley Cup winner shall select last, thus, positioning all Clubs on the list.

In the event of a tie for any position, such tie shall be resolved by application of the rules governing the determination of final League standings. The resulting list shall constitute the order of selection.

In the corner...Flyers forward was trying to get by to carry the puck behind the Sabres' net and Bogo just rubbed him right out.

I have no idea what the record for shots on goal, or even shot attempts, in a 60min game is, but this NYR-NYI game must be close. Its at 80shots on goal, with 7min left.

Very entertaining game, tied at 5's.

Most shots on goal in a game: 83 (Boston Bruins, March 4,  1941)

More than 70 years after the Bruins made life miserable for Chicago goaltender Sam LoPresti, no team has come close to matching Boston's fusillade against the Hawks late in the 1940-41 season. Amazingly, LoPresti made 80 saves, though the Bruins got three pucks past him and won 3-2.

Since that night, the Bruins are the only team to come within hailing distance of their own record. They had 73 in a 3-3 tie with Quebec on March 21, 1991 and 72 in an 8-2 victory against the first-year Buffalo Sabres on Dec. 10, 1970. No other franchise has broken 70 shots in a game since then, and the most shots by a team in one game in the 21st century is 61 by Toronto against the Islanders on Nov. 23, 2009.

I remember that game against Quebec. The Bruins shook the Quebec goalie's hand after the game.
