There is suppose to be some pretty good players such as Guy Lafleur, Darryl Sittler, Paul Coffey, Gilbert Perrault, Borje Salming, Lanny McDonald, etc.
WOW! nice score Serge. Thats a sick lineup for guys our age, we pretty much grew up with those guys. My intro to hockey were those 3 Leafs and Lafleur.

Ya those guys I grew with too. I am pretty pumped about this more than present day NHLers.

How dumb does the NHL and Gary Bettman look with this whole Phoenix debacle..They have buyers ready and willing to pony up cash to move the team to Winnipeg..But they insist on going after people that cant close the deal..

Pretty f'ing awesome to have so many people. I have a really hard time getting excited for World Championships though, when half the guys aren't playing...because their teams are doing too well? Seems like a lazy compromise to me.

Had an amazing time at the charity hockey event. We got a ton of autographs and a ton of pictures..The players were very accessible and was lucky enough to get right on the bench during the game. Some of the players we met and got pics with:Dougie GilmourWendel ClarkGary LeemanGuy LafleurPaul CoffeyDale HawerchukDarryl SittlerMegan SittlerDennis Maruk(he had a very long chat with my dad)Todd Harvey(looks a lot like Dale, nice guy)Andy BathgateNorm UllmanHarry Howell(he reluctantly signed my Leafs jersey)Johnny BowerMarty McsorleyKen BelangerRon FlockhartGaston GingrasMark NapierRick MiddletonLanny McdonaldSteve ThomasDarryl ShannonJack ValiquetteSteve Webb(i didnt know him)Lou Francheschetti(i see Lou so many times that didnt even bother with autograph, talked to him though)Suprised Eddie Shack wasnt there. It was a very fun event and my son had a great time, but I think I had a way better time.Wayne was there as well, Wayne is a pro and his kids trained well...They can smell a pro hockey player a mile away..Coffey,Wendel and Hawerchuk were all sitting in a dressing room..We barged in on them, it was fun...They were all fun, except Hawerchuk was a little crusty..WIll have some pics on Facebook if you guys are interested.

We got to York at noon and Serge saw my son around 12:30 pm. I had to make a donation to get into rink. The old ladies at the front told me that it had to make a generous donation. Since I had my 2 little girls and my son, I thought I will go low and will pay as much as $100 to get in. So I said is $50 fine? They then said yes that is a very generous donation. I thought get me a tax receipt and you got deal. We pretty much got everyone on Serge's list except for Sittler (never saw him), Howell/Bower (got there too late), Flockhart, Middleton and Valiquette. I have to got to say the 2 absolute worst signers were Mark Napier and Lanny McDonald. My 5 year old daughter had a book that had everyone in it. She wanted to get as many guys in the book she could. So she wanted the picture of the player signed and the autograph portion on the back of the book. Napier signed the picture and then my daughter asked for the back to be signed. He told her no I signed 1 for you already. On McDonald, my son went up to him with a 8x10. He said I will not signed that for you since I know what you are going to do with it. We did finally get him later and he personalized it for my son but he had some bad attitude. Clark and Gilmour were great to deal with and signed anything for anyone. The absolute best guy had to be LaFleur. Very very very nice guy. Very impressed by him.I would have brought my camera but with the 2 little girls with me I decided to leave it in the car. A good decision since my 2 year old fell asleep on me for 1 hour. My arm is killing me.Yes it was funny with the dressing room thing. My son was standing in the front of the dressing room with his sharpie looking at Coffey. Coffey motion for him to come in and my girls follow my son. Then all of a sudden the autograph hounds jumped in (as they usually do when a kid gets access). I was outside shaking my head and saying they should not have done that. Then Hawerchuk kicked everyone out and closed the door.Serge you have an open invitation to join us anytime. Today was a total blast and THANKS for the tip on the event. We have been chasing Bathgate for sometime and was extremely happy to get him on 2 pucks (Detroit pucks unfortunately, wished it was the Rangers). We got Lafleur 7 times (2 8x10s, 2 pucks and 3 cards).

It isnt hockey, but it pretty much screams hockey/Canadian if you saw it. Steve Nash last night with the puffy eye, scoring at will against the San Antonio Spurs. Im slowly losing my hockey interest (always happens as the weather gets better, and the playoffs drag....) and slowly warming up to the idea of Nash vs Kobe, with our boy coming out on top. I would have loved to be in Vegas with all the Lakers fans if/when Suns play them in the conference finals. Apologize for taking it to the NBA for a second there, you may return to your NHL allegiances.

Steve Nash is the greatest Canadian athlete since 2000 and is number 2 on my all time list behind Robert Gordon Orr. I know few if anybody will agree with me on my all time ranking.

Steve Nash is a faggot. Sorry, I felt that long before I even knew he was Canadian (which I found out 2 minutes ago).
There is, like, nothing about you as a sports fan that makes any sense to me.

Oh. Am I the only person in the world who is not a Nash fan? Damn. I was going to start my own facebook group but if I am the only one I guess I won't. That would be embarrassing.

I love Canadians! I always wanted to be one when I grew up. I just didn't want people to think I disliked Nash because he was Canadian.

wtf is going on in this picture?tkOFcwObRU820YmJTa4A.jpg
Wearing a RW jersey when Detroit is winning then cheering for SJ when they win a game is bandwagoning at it's finest. Fair weather fans are common in all sports but besides Phoenix, San Jose fans are the worst. Or are you talking about the lady trying to bang on the glass so it looks like she's challenging one of the players to put up their dukes?
There is a facebook grouphttp://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=3902...6888&v=wallBut I don't think he sucks. I just think he is a faggot. So it's not a group for me.
I think you're definition of faggot is off here because he plays basketball, not baseball.see because.........you know.......baseballs for faggots and all......
