if I had to pick a reason to root for someone in the playoffs, gotta say it'd be vancouver... just to see more clips of those guys.

I can't get into Vancouver at all (not since Bure), but I'll acknowledge that those green guys are one of the best things about the league currently. Big, big game tonight for Buffalo, I'm planning on being very near a coronary event (moreso than usual) the whole way through.

I don't get the feeling Nashville is really bringing it. I didn't see the 1st, but the 2nd was abysmal, they gave the Hawks 10 minutes of PP time. They've been mediocre in the 3rd here. You never know though, one bounce or two.

Should have been a penalty to Seabrook for catching the puck on the rebound and throwing it to the corner. It's called Closing Your Hand on the Puck, and it's a 2-minute minor, but it NEVER gets called. I've seen it called once outside of the crease, when David Booth lost his stick, and picked up and threw the puck out of the zone. I don't see how it's any different if he catches it and then throws it. It's still a penalty.

Definitely. He caught it, thought about it, then tossed it. If you have time to decide, you're holding it for too long.

this never gets called. Im suprised youve even seen it. For some reason, closing your hand means while the puck is on the ice,(in the crease) and rarely when its in the air, and someone grabs it, holds it for a sec, then throws it.

I seriously have no interest in the rest of the playoffs if the Red Wings and Caps end up losing..Its like a perfect set up to screw me in every way, every series..180 billion shots on goal to 12 and they cant win.The best power play in the NHL, and they cant score on 5-3s....

I'm not sure why I even attempt to use logic with you because it's not a concept you're familiar with, but...Lapiere's first diving penalty was well-deserved. The second one was a joke as was the call on Gionta. Halak!

Yes all the penalties are a joke, because the refs have it in for Montreal..Sure...Go with that.

If you go back and read my post you can clearly see that I don't think all the penalties are a joke. As I said, Lapierre deserved the first diving penalty. However, I feel that a lot of calls have gone against Montreal when they get a lead. And this is a really funny argument coming from you considering all the posts you've made regarding Sidney Crosby and the Penguins.

I know the feeling. I tried, but wasnt able to get out of having to be at Disney during the final game. My son is nuts about Disney, so its worth it, but man, I hope its not a dream matchup. Gonna love every minute of the knockout rounds though.

Too bad your leaving Vegas on the 9th. My buddies and I are already planning on where we will try to watch the first games at 7am/10am local time. The perfect ending to a good night.

Refs always seem to give the benefit of the doubt to the team who is behind in the game or series. Conscious or otherwise.
