Zach6668 513
All of the playoff games are on TV in Canada.CBC, TSN, TSN2. It just takes 3 different channels. You get the odd overlap when games go late, but that happens.

SBriand 4
I'm surprised Sduck is not a Damages guyI want my hockey for free (next year I'll probably get nhl online or at least half the season so I can see playoff games I want). I don't have to pay the NBA to watch all their playoff games. Get them all on Versus and USA or something. Yes I'd prefer ESPN but is it that hard to get every game on TV? I could be wrong about the NBA but I'm pretty sure they are all on TV.Also, Versus is way better than when it first started and I think most everyone has it now so it's not a horrid option. Just stop the freaking stacked games. I understand some games start at 730 and some at 830 and some at 1030. DON'T ****ING PUT THEM ALL ON THE SAME NIGHT RETARDS. I know my logic is horrible here since there's only one channel and the 830 game would mean that could be the only game on one night but what really peeves me is that every single Sharks game has only shown the third period (yes and OT). I can't remember but I think this might be the same for LA/Vancouver. Seriously? Some nights just do the two games. Shouldn't Saturday and Sunday NEVER have games on at the same time? 1230 330 630 930. On Sunday you could even do 1030 130 430 730. You could even do that on just the one hockey channel we've got.I started watching Damages but then missed a few. It is in my queue though on netflix. My wife is friends and went to school with one of the creators/writers.Tonight.I have no way to see the Philly/NJ game. Not one game in that series was broadcast here.Since the Ott/Pitt game has been going on I missed the entire CHi/Nash game. (and I am technically in Chicago's market being only about 4 hours away)SJ/Col is on CBC for me right now. Edit: I thought it was but it is notSo 4 games, only 2 1 gets shown for US hockey fans. That is not a good way to "grow" the sport.imo
Zach6668 513
SJ/COL isn't available in Canada because of the Pens game. It's the playoffs, that happens.

(obv would rather have this game though )
runthemover 40
the worst was last year when I was in SJ and the game was blacked out locally because it was "on" versus except versus was showing another game. Actually scratch that the worst was the "Baseball" game where a local Giants game was shown instead of the playoff game and when the baseball was in rain delay they showed MashOT games causing others not to be seen happens. that''s not a big deal

Zach6668 513
I'm torn. I mean, I want to go to the game, but my heart was cheering for the Pens to just end it. Being able to go again is a nice consolation prize though.I hate to bring this up, but I remember when the Penguins lost that 5-OT game to the Flyers in 2000. As soon as Primeau scored to make the series 2-2, I knew the Pens were done.I don't get that same feeling here because it's still 3-2 Penguins, and we get two more cracks at it, but man. OT momentum is so huge in a series.
XXEddie 0
I hate trying to blame anything on refs and I'm not saying that this game is 3-0 due to shitty officiating because it clearly isn't, but this is seriously getting ****ing ridiculous. An average scrum after a whistle happens in front of Nabokov in which McGinn drops his gloves and starts throwing punches at Duchene(who does nothing), and in some ****ing way the Avs end up with the extra man in the box. runthemover 40
If everything was called McLeod would've been in the box too so still a Sharks PP. Btw, Avs announcers are horrible and they're probably brainwashing you. 21 vs 10 power play changes sounds bad but if you've been watching, that's really how it has been
Zach6668 513
I thought those penalties were fine. Avs were the aggressors there.
sinc 0
SJ/COL isn't available in Canada because of the Pens game. It's the playoffs, that happens. For the record when this overlap happens on CBC they show the later game on the west coast CBC feed. It's channel 132 here on rogers.

serge 904
Just an FYI to people that might care..My essay on Gary Bettman is almost done, i should be posting it in the next few days..I will be first releasing it here to the FCP hockey forum, and then it will be sent all over the world..Newspapers, reporters, bloggers will all get a copy..Look for this to get a lot of play across North America...I am just getting it proof read and researching some final info for it. GWCGWC 83
No, some of the calls were terrible in the col/sj game last night. Yip getting called for cross checking by the benches during a line change was one of the worst calls I've seen all season. The penalties in this game were one sided but the Avs have gotten their share of PP's based on bad calls during this series. The Colorado announcers are homers but they barely even comment on penalty calls. It may be 1 min into a PP before they say what the penalty was for and more often than not, the broadcast won't replay the offense. The Sharks finally brought the type of game they were advertising during the regular season. I'm hoping it goes to game 7 because I want to squeeze just one more game out of the playoffs. digitalmonkey 929
Overall, the reffing in the playoffs has been weak.
serge 904
after 31 playoff games there was 17 too many men penalties. In 1200 regular season games there was 51....
digitalmonkey 929
after 31 playoff games there was 17 too many men penalties. In 1200 regular season games there was 51....There must have been some kind of memo to the refs to crack down on too many men infractions. That explains everything...the officials are too busy counting players on the ice to call a good game.
