serge 904
Big win! Montreal played a solid game and the Leafs didn't put up much of an offensive effort. Price was very much on his game tonight. He didn't have any extremely difficult saves, but he made everything look very easy and that snag on the deflection in the third was quick.Good win for you guys..We didnt really show up... digitalmonkey 929
Mara back to the Habs for a 5th.A necessary move with Markov, Gorges and Spacek all out with injuries. The 5th pick is the one they received from Anaheim for Maxim Lapierre. In summary, Lapierre for Mara. mrdannyg 274
Sounds like an FCHL trade. Your 11th forward for my 8th D-man.5th for Mara seems fine. He's a 6-7 defenceman. Whatever.
Nashtak 0
I don't care if that means having an AHL defensive squad, just call up Mathieu Carle or something. The only thing my brain allowed me to remember about Mara, so i don't lose 15 minutes of my life to stress everytime i hear his name, is that i don't want him on my team. MapleLeafpoker 1,462
Hey Dale, sorry about the Wizniewski injury. I feel like you and I are partly to blame.I'll take down the price on White if it will make you feel any better?I was watching it as it happened, ugly.

He was very good here and would love to see him back.
MapleLeafpoker 1,462
Serious question..Why the hate for Ian White? He was very good here and would love to see him back.Oh, I dont hate him at all. I just get the impression we're not gonna resign him, and if thats true, Id rather get something for him now. I actually like him, but I get the feeling he's worth more to other teams then he is to the Canes. Great opp for trade. That said, if its anything worse than a 3rd round pick, I would rather they just keep him for the push to the playoffs and hopefully in April+May too.I would rather they figure out a way to keep Pitkanen and I would much rather they spend the White salary on a different D. I didnt like the Babchuk-White deal, would have preferred they keep Babchuk, but it sounds like he might be a headcase. We need a player like......Jack Johnson.
digitalmonkey 929
I wonder if the Habs are considering White...or Chris Phillips...or...Imagine a 3-way between Montreal, Boston and Toronto To Toronto: Colborne, Boston's 1stTo Boston: Tomas Kaberle, Montreal pickTo Montreal: Mark StuartOk, so it's not really a 3-way. serge 904
I would like to extend an olive branch to all the Montreal Canadien fans. Tomorrow is a very big game for us and Leafs nation is buzzing in anticipation.Since you guys dont really need to win this game, we ask that you put in Alex Auld in net. Also its a good time to rest some of your regulars as its been a very COLD and long western road trip...We will consider returning the favour next time you are in need of a big win. Thanks and appreciate your help in this matter.Je me souviens Quebec.
