Moneyball16 0
For god sakes dont raise min preflop.
fiezk 0
Yeah, raise more pf. $80-90 is enough considering the huuge raise he made. You have to call. There is like $420 in the pot, and he pushes for $190. Besides, you'd push if he didn't bet, right?
dms26 3
I hate the min raise preflop, if he has any sort of hand he's calling a bigger raise and it makes the hand easier to play postflop. As played getting 3-1 against a maniac steaming player I call.
krup24 0
For god sakes dont raise min preflop.amen, you made this hand difficult when it's really really straight forward

offmandh 0
call, raise more preflop, dont get mad just cuz he has
cMcMonkey 0
call, raise more preflop, dont get mad just cuz he has 99Yeah, this has the smell of bad results needing a pep talk. Min raise is terrible, even though he raised big. Don't be afraid of scaring him away, if he's dropped 500 and steaming he's calling with almost anything. Most likely he has a Q or 2 big cards that missed, maybe got lucky and has 2 pr or a set. Since you posted it for comments I'm guessing one of the latter. If so, tough break you'll get him next time.
Trungy 0
As others have mentioned, the pre-flop raise was not wonderful, but let's get away from that for just right now.As you said: Villain was on major tilt after losing so much from the night. $500 to be more exact. He buys in for $400. Typically, someone who is on major tilt and re-buys into a cash game is someone who is willing to gamble. Not everyone is this hot-headed, but you just have to assume that this person is.Now, with that said, I think what you have to assume is that he is either making a play at you or is trying to make a quick double up. That can range from full bluff to one pair and good kicker to even two pair. If he is on major tilt, it can be any of the three. In my opinion, against a player who is tilted like this, you have to put your money in the pot. The pot is favorable, and this isn't a tournament. If this was a tournament, then it would be a tougher decision, one that you could possibly even lay down. However, this is a cash game. If your read is like mines, which is that he is on major tilt and that he is looking for a quick double up, then you will have to go broke (or in your case, lose a big pot). There is very little way around it.Also, you re-raised the pot on the flop. At that point, with what he has left, you are signaling that you're getting involved with this pot until the end. Generally, it is not a great idea to back out now.
