It is a really tough field, they usually are though, this deep....there are some "unknown" players that are sick, like Danny Wong, that kid is REALLY good. Also, I guess you guys can root for Kirk Morrison, he's a semi FCP'er, really good friends with DN.

It would be very selfish of JC to make a WPT ft at a place that I can't stand being.
I don't get why you hate this place. It's hella cool. The casino's not overbearing and the poker section (at least for this event) occupies a huge portion of it. The structures aren't quite as bad as they're made out to be, and the resort's pretty neat. Big arcade, lots of golf options, late night snacking, and plenty of restaurants. The spa/gym has a climbing treadmill! I haven't had a chance to check out the pool, go-karts, or mini-golf yet, but the fact that they're part of the resort is also cool. Maybe Reno is a crappy city (I haven't really been outside of the resort), but the proximity to the slopes of Tahoe is another nice feature.I've got first place loyalties to JC, but I'm also rooting for Gina Hewitt. In addition to making the final 27 of the ME, she final tabled the same rinky dink $200 nightly that I played tonight. She was friendly and impressed me with her play. The only player left that I'm aware of playing with on Day 1 is Kevin "Jack" Fox. He played pretty tightly from what I saw. He used to play a lot of poker, but he basically quit when the WPT came out. He also doesn't play the WSOP. Apparently the only event that he plays is the WPC...and mostly cause he's a local.

I think that it's impressive that with an M of 6 starting day 2, he has been patient and amassed a mountain of chips. I'll have to keep that in mind next time I play a live tourney. When I get that low, I almost give up hope but i shouldn't.
