I chopped a $20 buy in MTT on UB a few weeks ago that cashed me $1600.I mean it's no $25,000 seat @ Bellagio w/ all expenses paid and free lessons, but it's the best I got.

Ummm... I would have to say that my best poker tournament that I won was when I beat out 235 people in a $33 plus rebuy on Pokerstars to get a seat in the Carribean Adventure in the Bahamas. The seat was worth $11,000 plus $1,000 in cash. The most I've ever made in a cash tournament was $3,500 when I came in 7th on the Party Poker $150 Super Monday. And by far the best poker accomplishment that I have is when I went to Las Vegas and sat down at a $2-5 no limit table with $200 at the Golden Nugget. I walked away 36 hours later with $5,500. I made most of it within a span of about 1 hour and a half and kind of chipped away at the rest. I was so tired that I didn't even make it back to my hotel (which was at the Venetian) and fell asleep in my car!

Two BIG ones (for me)1) I once won a $3 tourney on PokerStars with 1483 entries...that netted me $11002) The biggest $$ win came when I finished 4th in a $11+ rebuys one night on PokerStars...I only did an add-on so for my $21 I got back $1805!I have a total of six or so other wins in the last 1 1/2 years but those were the best...my next goal is to get my first $2K score but I'm not worrying about it...

Well only been playing about 8 months, but a few highlights so far. I only play NL sngs and tourneys.1) Was a $30 + $3 buy-in on AP when Mark Seif first joined AP. There were only 31 people in the tourney and it came down to Mark Seif and myself for headsup at the end and I won.2) The largest tourney I have won was a $20 +$2 buy in with 136 people on AP.3) I finished 3rd place in a $10 + $1 buy in tourney with 638 people.Won several smaller tourneys, the big ones it just seems you have to have a good amount of luck as well.

I don't play very many tournaments, but my two biggest accomplishments are winning a seat to the WSOP this year at my local b&m and winning a 250$ buy-in tourney with 212 people for a little over 11ooo. I play in the 30-60 and 100-200 games, so I have had some pretty big swings both ways.

Can't think of my best moment (not really a tourney player). Funniest, though...Entered a freeroll on absolute out of boredom on holy saturday, while visiting my parents. 2000 entrants, 99% of them being fish. Down to 36 people, i have 2x avg. chip count, my table is absolutely awful and I'm having a grand time stealing blinds when it's time to go to church. Don't want to disappoint Jesus or the parents so I hit the sit out button and wonder how long it'll be before i get blinded to death.I ended up in 17th. If I had been in the top 15, I would have gotten a seat in a $15 game the next day (easter day). But best of all, if I had actually won? $10. Yeah, that's right bitch. $10 off a freeroll. And it would have only taken 6 or so hours of work. Suck on that 8)

Should I even be posting to this thread?? Probably not...but I am excited that I cashed in my first ever NL tourney 2 months ago. I held on, and I mean CLINGED to 10th place(those blinds and antes were vicious in the later rounds!) in a 70 player tourney at my local casino. 1st paid $3400, 10th paid $760. I was seriously about to pass out when it was down to 15 people and I had to go all in every other hand just to stay alive. That was so stressful and I haven't played in a live tournament since. I think I will just stick with 4/8 limit for a while!

I was in a tournament I got drawn out and left in about 4th place, and my friend had siphoned almost all his chips to the opposing player after he REJECTED a chop, 2 players are left now, my friend and this guy. So I told him "Give me your chips right now, and I'll win this for you" Of course this wasn't a garuntee, but I felt like I just had too do it. With 5:1 chip lead against me, and able to only buy in too a couple blinds, I felt kinda... weird.Within 20 minutes the chips were on my side from a slowplay I made when I hit top two pair on the flop, the guy would raise lots so I just played it slow while he tried to bully me out, once he became pot comitted it was just a matter of him drawing to 3 outs.Best poker game of my life. I felt great after I showed my Bill Fillmath hand, I won it with K-J not suited. hehe.

I will be starting a rather frequent poker blog myself for everyone to read my various poker experiences and other things. Once the web site is up I will notify anyone who wishes to visit it. OK...so the other night I sit down at Bodog poker in 2/4 No Limit no max buy-in with 9 players. As I glance around the full table I see somone sitting with 5000 some odd dollars to my left. Immediately, I'm reminded im only sitting there with half of his chips, not the best position in a cash game.About a half hour into the game I have accumulated 750 dollars and I am pleased with my work and play. Then comes AJ of clubs. I raise in a late position to 12 (standard 3x opening hold'em raise) and get re raised to 24. To my surprise (and dismay) 5 people call the enormous raise and I'm pretty sure I'm up against a better hand. However, then 12 dollars is nothing if I hit my hand hard because I could bust any number of people. The flop comes K Q 3 yielding only one club. After calling a 400 dollar bet (because the pot is enormous already) and calling another re-raise the turn reveals another club (4). After realizing the person who has 5000 is betting super aggressively I correctly place him on AK...not to worry I think, I still can break him with the river. After numerous raises and reraises the pot is close to 5 g's already.Then...the miracle happens. While hoping for the flush I'm disappointed to see a red card. WAIT! It's a 10. This completes my 10 through ace nut straight. After the kid with 5000 and AK pushes in 10000 more and is called by trip queens, and an inferior 2 pair, I re-raise all in. Everyone at the table calls who is involved in the hand. The final outcome results in me taking rags on the turn to 12000 dollars worth of riches on the river. Normally I don't chase, but my implied odds looked so good, I couldn't resist. NOTHING VENTURED....NOTHING EARNED.

Ha! Just kidding. I once got 3rd in a 600 player tourney. It was held inside a club, and we all played in a stadium style place. Lots of spectators all around and above us. The rush of playing in front of such a big crowd was awesome.http://www.thebuzz.com/jacor-common/global...content=morningI'm the guy with the hat.
