PrtyPSux 0
that's good, maybe my flopped set won't get cracked by a donkey that shoves with a flush draw this time because hopefully they won't do that at the early levels.Donkey's might not...I will though, so watch out. Teffy 0
All except the ME- "Harrah’s decided to double the number of starting chips this year. That means instead of a $1,000 starting chips in the $1,000 events, they’ll start with 2,000 chips in order to give players more play. According to a representative of the WSOP’s publicity firm, this will affect all the events." http://cardplayer.com/poker_news/article/8500 Last year, $1500 event = 1500 starting chips. This year $1500 event = 3000 starting chips. Was the first example of $1000 = $2000 starting chips so unclear that you had to give a second example yourself?

Jam-Fly 8
awesome, but we have to consider that doubling the starting stacks will probably increase the tourney length by up to 25%. If the blinds stay the same, that is. I didn't read the article so I'm not sure, if the blinds are changing it should be ok. But event that used to take 2-3 days I would think might now get closer to 4. Thoughts?lol, so they say, we'll give you 2k instead of 1k, but double everything else aswell so it is effectively the EXACT same structure and event. But this sounds rly good, should give more play. grocery_mony 8
$1000 for 2000t$ at wsop or $1000 for 5000t$ at the Bellagio cup events. If it werent fo those damn gold braclelts I know where I would play.
Caught_clean 0
If the buy ins werent more then 5 dollars I know where I would play to.
DCJ001 0
Here's the WSOP Schedule and tournament structures and staring chip stacks:http://www.worldseriesofpoker.com/events/e...s?eventid=43306Good news/bad news:Main event players start with $20k in chips, 1st level is $50/$100$50k Horse players start with $100k in chips, 1st level is $300/$600$1500 NLHE players start with $3k in chips, 1st level is $25/$50Looks like the change is an improvement for the lower buy-in events. Too bad the wording of the press release is misleading.
13CARDS 0
Starting chips doubles for the Casino Employee Event to 2000 but the blind levels are slightly accelerated from last year. Seems like a wash to me.
Dratj 0
Donkey's might not...I will though, so watch out.I'll check to you and instacall. lol. Seriously though, I'm not saying it's wrong to shove a flush draw but I showed strength by raising the pot to price out the flush draw as it was a multiway pot. I'm calling the reraise shove for sure.
