KentuckySlim 0
I'm heading to Vegas in May for the first time since the week after I turned 21 (~3.5 years ago) and my buddies and I are trying to figure out where to stay. Sooooo... we want to stay on the strip, and we are cheap. Any advice?

TheBigB11 0
I stayed at the Casino Royale last time I was there. It is right next to Harrah's and Harrah's has shuttles that go all over for free. It is probably the cheapest place to stay in the center of the strip. The only problem I had last time was there was a double murder right outside of our window. That was a nice thing to wake up to in the morning.

Woodbelly 0
The Gold Coast has decent rates, not on the strip, just west of it, next to the RIo.
qyayqi 11
wasn't 'beating a dead horse' one of the moves in that rave dance training vid?
DB10-2 0
Were you there NBA all-star weekend?i was. yikes. by saturday night the cab drivers would only pick people up if they weren't black.
Mikey Ravioli 0
Monte Carlo is nice and moderately priced but if you don't mind being down on the end of the strip Excalibur is cheap for the south end and is a lot of fun. Luxor isn't bad. Being that you guys are 21 I doubt you will be spending much time in the rooms to appreciate the ammenities. Imperial Palace is pretty cheap and central. DB10-2 0
also, the tropicana isnt bad. it's reasonably cheap, has a decent pool, a young crowd, etc. it's near MGM's room and has its own $200NL game that's usually pretty soft.

Sooooo... we want to stay on the strip, and we are cheap. Any advice?1) go to any of websites of the the places you think you're staying and look under their promotions tab. see what they have to offer..... book directly with the hotel then if the rate changes you get the change and it's usually the same price anyway.2) Go to this webpage and check out the promo codes that people are posting....http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/messagevie...925&start=

Gerald Green is sick...Being that you guys are 21 I doubt you will be spending much time in the rooms to appreciate the ammenities. Imperial Palace is pretty cheap and central.Sigh...I wish I was still 21. This real job thing is lame. But you're right - I don't plan on spending too much time in the room.also, the tropicana isnt bad. it's reasonably cheap, has a decent pool, a young crowd, etc. it's near MGM's room and has its own $200NL game that's usually pretty soft.I am a little worried about this. I tend to be a donkey at full ring cash games. I was running pretty good in 1/2 6-max games the past few weeks but blew up at the beginning of this week. But I think I'm too aggressive for full tables. Especially considering the stories I hear about all the action at live tables. I just get so bored playing like a rock, even if it is the way to go at those small stake tables...I had alot of tournament success in January but am in a dry spell since then. Hopefully I'll get to play in a couple daily tourneys while I'm there.Of course after turning into a total fish this week I may be broke by May so all this could be a moot point... Mikey Ravioli 0
Hookers charge more when you call them to nicer hotels. Stick with IP for center strip or Excalibur for south end.

I'll look for the Kentucky looking dude, lol. Though i'm sure there'll be a few.But seriously, the IP deal is the best, and the Deluxe rooms are definitely a step up from what you'll find for similar prices. Plus you get a couple free buffet coupons (not that the buffet isn't terrible) But decent for some waffles or something for breakfast. http://www.imperialpalace.com/stay.php?sub...p;contentid=284 <~~ There you go.
