Drinking 7 Pints Of Water In 1 Hour

Recommended Posts

What the title says.Is it possible? If so, how easily?I'm trying to set odds for my flatmate. I already won £20 when he failed at 6 pints of milk in 1 hour (he accepted 2.5/1 when he was easily over 10/1).Any other ideas for dumb prop bets are welcome as well.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure 7 pints in an hour isn't enough to cause a problem. He's 6 foot 7 and pretty well built. He's allowed to go to the bathroom as well.
sooooooooooooo not the point!

I remember a few weeks ago I saw in the news that if you drink too much water you die. That's all i remember, and don't trust me as credible. That's all the details I know. But 7 pints in 1 hour seems like it would be close to too much.EDIT after reading responses. Ya I guess i'm right.'You think 7 pints is not enough'...what if you're wrong? you think your set is good. And it is most of the time. But once in a while ....

Tell him to go for it! I guess "pretty sure" is good enough, it's not like we're talking life and death here!

The Cream Cracker Challenge.Eat 4 Cream Crackers in 1 minute. Almost impossible, so you choose whatever odds you want.

Dumb Prop Bets:Water intoxication (also known as hyperhydration or water poisoning) is a potentially fatal disturbance in brain function that results when the normal balance of electrolytes in the body is pushed outside of safe limits by a very rapid intake of water.[1]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_intoxication

just wanted to add, marathon runners are a great example of whom this actually happens to.

Not sure about water, but experimentation has proven that over 10 pints of beer can be consumed in one hour without death.
I was kinda thinking the same thing. Pretty sure some people have had at least 7 pints of something alcoholic before and not died from water poisoning, lol.And WTF is a cream cracker?

425165.jpgCream crackers. You never heard of cream crackers??They're dry savoury biscuits, that you put stuff on, like... cream! Or cheese, or things like that.
Looks like a Saltine.

He just ate a full chili for £5 and spent the next 20 minutes in considerable pain.I have warned him of the dangers of drinking that much water. He (and everyone else) feel certain that 7 pints is not enough to do damage, so it's going ahead.
