I was on monster tilt last night after the Sunday tourneys and after taking a nap for a few hours I saw a 600nl table with some 2+2ers flipping. Honestly this does relieve tilt, and I feel much better now. yeah, i hope there was more to it than what we saw. looks like he agreed to flip with aces, flipped a few times, got way up and sat out. then he came back in time to "flip" for $1K with AXs. I assume he'd agreed to everything in chat that wasn't shown before hands were dealt, but seems like three fishy instances all involving him.i know he's pretty highly respected, so i assume this can be cleared up easily.

I guess I understand how it can let out frustation, but I'd rather do that at the play money tables.If the amount is insignificant then I can see why but 600 dollars can buy a lot of nice things so why piss it away?Don't get me wrong Hoos, I know its your money and I do respect you for your success but I just don't get it. maybe its cause of where I'm from or something...

Well, I may screw around for $20 bucks with a buddy about something like a coin flip. I can buy 3 days worth of lunches for that amount of money. It's the same concept, except the scale is bigger because he has more $$$ than I do...or even if he didn't, he's willing to put more of it at play. It's part of what makes a successful poker player. Pros straight up gamble on the golf course for a lot more $$$ than this, again, the scale is just different.

nah. remember, over time flipping in holdem should be the same as flipping coins. the stakes don't matter if it all evens out in the end. the $3 or whatever rake per hand is the only real leak.
