digitalmonkey 929 Posted March 6, 2007 Share Posted March 6, 2007 As previously mentioned in this thread...Serge, I will wager that any one of the players on my current roster will score 30 NHL goals in a single season at a younger age than Dustin Penner. Penner's birthdate is September 28th, 1982. Once Dustin Penner scores his 30th goal of the season we will use this calculator, or a similar one, to determine how many days it took him to accomplish the feat. We will include the end date (i.e. the date the 30th goal is scored) in all calculations. Obviously, there is a chance that Dustin Penner never scores 30 NHL goals in a single season. This will not void the deal, but one of the players on my current roster will need to score 30 NHL goals in a single season for me to collect on the wager. Also, it is entirely possible that a player on my current roster who is older than Dustin Penner can win this wager for me. For example, Tyler Arnason (b. March 16th, 1979) may score his 30th NHL goal of the 2007-08 season on March 29th, 2008. As calculated here that would mean it took him 10,607 days from the day of his birth to accomplish the feat. This would mean that Dustin Penner would have to score his 30th NHL goal of the season on or before October 12th, 2011 as calculated here. Here is a list of the my current roster. IMO, sounds pretty weak if you aren't even willing to put up three of your super-awesome prospects against a mediocre (according to you) player like Penner.why not put up Little, Schrempf and someone?p.s. am i agreeing with Serge? it hurts!
