Atlantic City Or Foxwoods?

Hello guys,I will in NYC on april. I would like to go to AC Foxwoods to play some poker.I will be able to play just 1 and 1/2 day (monday morning until tuesday afternoon).I like to play low stakes, sit-gos and tournaments.What is better......AC or Foxwoods?Regards,Gustavo

Foxwoods lowest limits are 1/2 $300 max buyin and a 2/4 limit game. I like Foxwoods but it is in the middle of nowhere, so if you want to go anywhere other than foxwoods you should go to AC.There is Custy's the world's craziest buffet, and a Tim Hortons but that is really about it.

I think AC is generally more depressing than foxwoods. other than that it's a tossup.

Foxwoods is a very nice casino, but at least with AC, there's more game selection and casinos to play in. Gives you more options to find a limit and tournament you're comfortable with. House of Blues $50+10's are a lot of fun midweek.

Simple. Borgata and it's not even close.Trop is decent too, I only stayed for a couple hours though. Borg is dashit!Foxwoods, the place is fine but the rake is just dumb. The 2/5 game charges $10hr iirc. I was there twice. People are nice, game is soft but hard to beat the house. Higher limits aren't that bad but low limits are robbery.As most people know, the Borg drink girls are the best in AC.The Friday afternoon tourney also has great value.Good luck

i live right near foxwoods and due to mohegan sun shutting down their poker room right before the boom...foxwoods can do anything they want. the morning no limit tournaments foxwoods rakes close to 21% for the house so the payouts suck. also if you like playing low limit games get there early or wait about an hour. the 1/2 NL Holdem buy in $100 is usually booked up... that's the lowest they play. but remember foxwoods takes time every 30 minutes at that table instead of raking the pot. so it's 10 per hour to sit at that table. what i've found is if i'm winning lots of pots, time is good because they are only taking 10 bucks an hour but if i'm grinding then it sucks. that's my foxwoods poker room assesment, but actually AC is gross so at least you feel clean.
