nightaddicted 0
As I already posted in the topic "Not catching a hand" I've been completely card dead lately.. I didn't catch any cards.. but having faith in my play and that cards would come back I've been going to the tables consistently waiting for that to happen. I must be the most unlucky guy in the world. Since my last post I've played everyday and being card death hasn't changed all that much.. so yesterday I got QcQs .. I raise 20 euro pre flop.. (blinds are 2-2 max buy-in is 200) I get called by 1 guy.. flop comes5s7s8s. I rais an additional 50 euro.. I get called (calling station I knew he would). turn comes 6s (by know you know where this is going) I bet another 130 euro. I get called. The river card comes 9s . I bet 20 all-in ( i know the numbers are weird). The guy hessitates and decides to make the call afterall.. he turns over Qd10s.. when I show him QsQc he almost throws away his hand untill the dealer tells the guy he actually has a str8 flush. A 1 outer... I knew he was a calling station but still .. so I lost all the money again.Today I figured the run of bad luck should be over.. There were 2 tables for 2-2 open at my casino. I couldn't however choose at which table I wanted to sit so I was appointed the table with 2 drunk fellas and 2 calling station turkish guys.I buy in for 180. The drunk guys bets 50 blind almost every hand, if not 50 then 100..so I waited for the high pocket pairs to catch him.. I get QsQd I don't hessitate for a seccond and push all in from UTG. The drunk guy naturally calls from the button with 10s4d.. luckily he misses everything and I pick up the pot. So no complaints from me there..after alot of rounds I get a hand again AhAd I'm at SB.. the drunk guy is now @ Button.. a good player I know is UTG and raises it up to 16.. the guy next to him calls.. 2 other guys call.. 2 turkish calling stations call.. the drunk guy calls.. I move all in for 300.. the good player (the raiser) calls, 1 of the turkish calling stations calls.. The other 2 guys are not all-in yet..so me: AhAdbord comes @ flop 7s 5d 3hThe good player bets an additional 70.. the calling station callsturn 6driver 8scards are opened:the good player: AsQdthe calling station: Kd9sThe calling station made a str8 on the river 5 to 9..How much more bad luck do I need ? first I don't get a single hand in 5 days.. now even if I catch a hand I am not going anywhere..And please don't suggest I should hh ave played them differently cause as you can see the calling station calls a bet of 70 on the flop with absolute rags.. they NEVER FOLD !!! and this is not even online but in my local casino...Online I did even worse:I'm dealt: 6s6dI rais it up to 8 from late position (blinds 1/2)I get reraised from the bb to 18..I call.. (headsup)flop comes 2d 6c 6h, I check the guy bets 20.. I rerais 40 (yes I did reraise with the nuts)the guy moves all-in for 600 dollars.. I call.. turn Kdriver Ksthe guy shows K K.. Correct me if I'm wrong but the chance of him hitting that is like les then 1 % !!!I have lost all confidence in mathematics.... and yeah yeah "In the long run you will win" but how much money do I need to loose before this "long run" starts to kick in ? how much bad luck do I need before I get paid off ?Really.. I have descided to stop playing for atleast 2 entire months.. What the hell can I do to change it around ? I'm hopeless here..

I read books.. but tell me in which book you found that.. If I call I get the whole table to the flop.. I get everybody to the showdown.. are you kidding me ? I agree a pre flop all-in is not the way to go but with so many raises before you can callers/limpers You want to isolate some good hands don't you ?

Zach6668 513
suck it up buttercup, go back tomorrow and get your money back from those guys and quit whining It's a common misconception around here that when people make their first posts bad beat posts, that they even have the chance to go and win it back, like they are winning players or something. And didn't I have the guy beat untill the river ? I know the chances were big he had me beat before that but I was certain he didn't.. When you are card death for over 5 entire days you are not gonna fold when you are ahead.. especially not against a player like that.. Ofcourse I could have checked it out but either he would have made a bluff which I would have called since I would have known it to be a bluff or I would have given him that str8 flush for free.. and I don't want that either now do I ? There is no doubt in my mind that my play needs improvement aswell.. But after this QQ I didn't tilt.. I plaid my play Like I usually did.. I went home without losess that day.. even had a little profit. All these hands are in in consecutive days.. I didn't tilt after any of these hands.. I plaid my play and didn't do weird things I would have done differently if I hadn't lost those potsEDIT:for the record in the first 1 1/2 month I took home an average of 100 to 150 euro a day.. navybuttons 15
you must have misplayed them. if you played them correctly you would have won all the money.the laws of mathematics only exist outside of your playing poker, with you they are broken.run like this for 3 months, then you can complain about it, and then i'll listen. SCYUKON 0
Ever see the DN - Gus Hansen hand on High Stakes Poker? Or basically DN for the first two seasons on HSP. Serious cold-deck.But that is still a pretty sick run of beats. Take some time off if you must. Part of the game unfortunately.I don't think you will find much sympathy on this forum though as I think most have run through what you have.Hang in there.

ScottTK 0
on the first hand there is a straight flush on the board. no reason to bet the river.soon enough you'll run worse than this.
