So much more money in live play that I'm actually considering moving back to So. Cal to play in the bigger NL games. The best part is, it's all straight cash so the tax man don't gots to know Honestly, even the better regulars are pretty bad.My solution to the boredom of live play is to pretend that I'm in every single hand and try to predict the players cards... it keeps me from falling asleep. I was playing 60/120 when I was in Vegas and was regularly playing that big 5/10 PLO game not too long ago. Plus, I'm kind of counting future credit cards that might come in as part of my "roll". I'm perfectly happy to stay at this level and grind for a while though. Well, maybe not "perfectly" happy, I was bad and sat at 2/4 PLO for a little while last night, but I'm not doing that again for a while. Like I said earlier, if I haven't learned discipline after all this, I might never learn it.And Abba, I won't argue the point that NL might be more lucrative than limit live, but it's certainly not a prerequisite to making good money. After midnight, the 60/120 at Bellagio is softer than 10/20 online, and LA's supposed to be way better than Vegas for everything. navybuttons 15 Posted March 16, 2007 Share Posted March 16, 2007 i know this isn't a bad beat forum, but...me and the other guy are sitting at a $50 PLO w/ $150 stacks a piece. we both turn the nut straight, i got two-pair redraw and a flush re-draw. he has a gutterball higher straight. 3 outs and gg navy.so i sat in a .02/.04 LHE game, capped every street and sent $2 to the guys i sucked out on. i did that for hours.still up +$500 for the month, but of course i haven't been playing as much as i would have liked. also, i think i'm running really sick at PLO right now. either that or i'm the best $50 PLO player at stars. i'd like to think the latter.
