GeneralGeeWhiz 0
This past Sunday I was playing a live SNG at my friends. It was a 200 dollar buy in with 9 people. It was down to the final three, and my two oppenents kept raising and going all in. My M was around a 4 when the villan raised 3x the BB. I look down and pick up Ks Js and think about it for a while. I took in consideration how agressive the villan was and how short my stack was. I decided to push, and the guy on the button folded. Villan thought about it for a while and called....*Can I post results?*Good move Daniel?

BeaverStyle 1
I'd like to get first-in-vig w/ KJs here... I don't hate calling, however.Specifics on blinds/stack sizes/payouts will definitely alter/support decisions.

First was paid 900, second paid 600 and third paid 300, so I wanted to take it down. I also want to add that the villan is a pro that plays for a living, and has been doing it for 20 years. Great player that makes agressive moves when he senses weakness, so maybe he picked up on something. He had about 8k in chips.EDIT: Results are posted in whiteHe thought about it for a good five minutes, glancing at me and looking at his cards (I didn't flinch). He started to count out the chips and decided to call. He had AT os. He held up and I busted in third.

If you just flat call this preflop that leaves you with around 1,950 in chips, what are you going to do, if villina CB's this flop? You going to fold?
Mercury69 3
Villain madde a fairly loose call and was lucky you didn't have a PP. GG.
jmbreslin 0
What would worry me about that situation is his small raise within the context of his recent pushing aggression. That tells me that he wants you to call. That said, he could still have a fairly wide range and KJs is a decent hand to compete with. I think you picked a good time to make a stand by pushing back against him. The fact that he thought about it for so long and studied you suggests that you took him by surprise. Given his small raise, though, it's not surprising that he was holding a pretty decent hand.
Jam-Fly 8
I think u made the right move, gotta take a stand somewhere. And theres very few hands that ur dominated against. AA,KK, QQ, JJ, AK, KQ, AJ. While I would say villains range is A2+, 22+ JT+, and maybe a few connectors like 89 or 78. I call here

SlackerInc 0
Villain madde a fairly loose call and was lucky you didn't have a PP. GG.I don't see it as all that loose when we're down to three handed with the blinds that high.
