Hey D. Sorry about the tourney bro. I'm convinced after the weekend I had that Aces suk, lol. Anyway, ya gotta love T-Mak. Ignorance is bliss eh? The kid sounds wicked smart with few (if any) bad habits yet. Perfect! Regarding the Commerce...other than a few places/games that I love in Vegas, Commerce is indeed the nuts. A dozen or so of us were all there a few weeks ago for the beginning of the LAPC and we all had a blast. So many good games to choose from, and the place is SICK huge. Just fantastic. We all stayed at the Wyndham as well btw. I liked the place. Nothing super fancy but very business traveler nice. The staff was pretty nice too.You should try to play in that Chinese poker game they always have going in the big room! Such a strange game. I still cant figure out when everyone shows their hands and then starts throwing chips back and forth across the table. Hilarious. The food is the nutz (and free) too btw. Commerce is definitely one of the top 3 places to play in the country.GL to T mak (and all other FCP folks)!Safe travels....

Daniel,In regard to internet access, you should get an High Speed Broadband card for your laptop from your wireless cellular provider, this way you don't have to depend on the hotel service. Works great too at airports and even on the road.Jean "Frenchie"

Hey Frenchie, I used to have a Sprint card but it wasn't as fast as hi speed and didn't work in Canada. Besides, every hotel I stay at usually has hi speed.

In hindsight, I could have played the AA against Nick more cautiously, but I couldn't exactly just fold on the turn when he raised me. I should have probably smooth called and maybe saved a bet on the river. In fact, had I played the hand like I normally would, I'd probably still be in. The river was a 7, so it would have been impossible for me to call and I'd still have an average stack.

Dan, you said if you folded the turn you'd still have an average stack? With 375 left and blinds at 100-200 I think I missed something, prolly a typo or maybe a fellow forum member can show me a mistake I've made?-Joey

If it has been more than 1 year you might want to recheck as they have come up with new technology. I regularly get 100K+ download speed. Also I missed you at the Commerce. I was there all day Friday where I played the 2 super but did not make it. Then I played cash game for 30+ hours. When I went by the tourney area to check on you and Anthony, you were out already. I did talk with Anthony for a few seconds. He is still doing very well and demonstrating that his win was not just luck. Any comment on his lay down of the QQ ?Jean
