I just found out that i am going to vegas tomorrow. Got a great deal to leave tomorrow and come back on Sunday. It is just going to be my friend and I. We are just going to find some cheap hotel when we get there. This will be my 5th time to be there so we dont care about seeing anything, but poker and craps.I know that a lot of casinos have added poker rooms recently. I have played at Bellagio, Mirage, and The Orleans in the past. Are there any other rooms that are better than Bellagio and Mirage? Are there going to be many tables at Bellagio since the tourny is going on? Is the tourny in the main room or is it in a side room? We play within the range of 6/12 limit, and $200-$500 buy in no limit. We are really looking for the place that has the most NL tables. Also any good tournys worth playing? Something in the range of $75-$175 buy in?Last, is there anything big going on there this weekend? Convention, Nascar, etc...?Thanks in advance.

bellagio has construction in the main room ... so everything is in the slot area. what limits / stakes do you play. i like excalibur for a $100 buyin nl game, but i'm assuming you'll be playing a lit more expensive games.(am i blind, or did you edit in the stakes you play?)anyway, to find tournaments, pick up a copy of cardplayer (they have them at excalibur and some of the upscale rooms i'm sure) ... i know plaza has midnight tourney on saturday and bellagio has a $240 satellite for their $1000 tournament thats run friday from 9am - 2pm (10 nseated top 2 get seats)

Last year the Golden Nugget, located downtown, opened up a poker room last year. I enjoyed it. So many hotels have poker rooms now. Most have low limits, but some are trying to spread bigger games. I may try the Adladdin, they have a new room, I've never been there though. LIke i said, so many places have rooms, so if i were you, i would call around and get tournament info... www.terrancemlane.blogspot.com
