Would Anyone Expect This?

$11 turbo 45 ppl sng, 2 tables left, my table has only 4 ppl on it, im second in chips in the tourney (8.5k) and villain is chip lead (10k) villain has raised the blind, forcing me to fold, the past 3 roundsSeat 4: Coolbreeze71 (12655 in chips) Seat 7: VernonME (6476 in chips) Subturranean: posts the ante 50Coolbreeze71: posts small blind 400VernonME: posts big blind 800Dealt to VernonME [Kc Ks]Coolbreeze71: raises 800 to 1600VernonME: raises 800 to 2400Coolbreeze71: calls 800*** FLOP *** [7d 7h 4d]Coolbreeze71: checks VernonME: bets 800Coolbreeze71: calls 800*** TURN *** [7d 7h 4d] [9h]Coolbreeze71: checks VernonME: bets 800Coolbreeze71: raises 3200 to 4000VernonME: calls 2426 and is all-in*** RIVER *** [7d 7h 4d 9h] [7c]I know i should have re raised alot more preflop, but seeing KK on a four handed table made me greedy and wanted to win more chips than to push villain out of the hand early, sorry converter is not working, any comments?

you min re raised preflop. you will prob get flamed and deservedly so .

All you're doing with the preflop minraise is giving him odds to call with a lot of hands.Yes, you don't want the raise too big, to scare him away, but you do want it big enough that if he does call you he is making a mistake in doing so.

I'd play aces the way you're saying, but with the turbo structure and the amount in the pot and the fact that villain alone could knock me out, I'd push preflop. As played, I'd push flop. As played (you guessed it), I'd push turn. As played (a little hard to imagine) I'd make a crying call of villain's push (after all, I look like a weak c-better, and this guy's aggro...hmm, could this be a more clever way to play the hand than I thought? lol)
