I'll be down there for the (at least) the first 4 days of this one, and getting in at least 1-2 events minimum. Any other FCPers heading that way?Also, for anyone that's been there, is there ANYTHING to do there, or is it just the Caesars and that's it?

Just returned from there. It is a very nice casino and poker room is quite large. I played in the main event there 2600 buy in 10th place didnt pay much but better than nothing. Next one is a 5K buy in looking forward to it should be a decent crowd and very good pay out. Good luck and if you like omaha they have a very juicy 10-25 50 strattle PLO game. Good luck if you plan on attending but I would wait and go down the second week better action.

Hmm, the more I think about it...play cards? I guess as long as there's stuff to do in the Caesar's, what do I care what's around? I don't really. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Is there any nightlife at all in Caesars? I wouldn't mind having a beverage or twelve one of the nights.

They have a bar, Legends, which is all right. Live entertainment on the weekends (the normal bar kind of stuff) and a decent beer/liquor selection. Sometimes the bar staff juggles fiery objects, which is kinda cool. That's your best bet without going into Louisville...there's nothing in New Albany.

well said Atari. I was just there last night with the girlfriend. No poker just the wheel and the bones. In regards to Legends and something to do, it really depends on if there is a concert/show in town or not to really fill up the place. On a side note, I was waiting for my girlfriend outside Legends about 1:30am last night, and a young (prolly 22 or 23) came out of the bar and took her shirt off and walked topless for about 200 feet before security caught up with her...I just wish that she had something to look at - meh, maybe next time. Have fun - I may play an event or two also.

I may come out for some cash games on Tuesday or Wednesday night. My J.O.B gets in the way of playing the weekday events. I'm from Louisville (about half hour away). If I can make it, i will reply to this thread for a day and time to meet up for one of them cocktails. I've been lurking on here nearly everyday for over a year and a half...bout time i meet some of the 'popular kids' on here. Good Luck to ya.
