Money022 0
This is a serious question and in no way an attempt to flame Stars. Please keep that in mind when replying. One thing I've noticed is that when two players are all-in preflop, even if the one is dominated, the lessor hand usually wins. It seems close to 80% of the time. I just wrapped up a 180 SNG and most of the players that went out were busted when holding the best hand with all their chips in the pot, and opponents hit running cards or 2-4 outers to suck out. I posted this same question a month ago on another forum and I was somewhat surprised to hear how many people agreed that too many hands seem to be decided on the river, or lose to running cards. Is this something others agree with? I love Stars cash games but am seriously considering finding a new site specifically for non cash games.Any thoughts...serious ones. ROACHBABY 0
I've been telling people this for a while. PS is the only site I have played on that I cannot consistently win. The one day i was playing about 3-4 tables at once and within about 10 games I had seen AA vs KK 3 times. These were single table SNGs. Before this I had seen AA vs KK less than 10 times since I've been playing. Seeing this 3 times in one sitting makes me kinda skeptical.

It's even less frequent that somebody is drawing dead on the flop. Therefore most hands are decided on the river.

That's not what I was trying to imply. Besides, there would be no point in any format outside of a cash game...which even then I know better.I'm not talking about myself regarding losing as a huge favorite. I notice this for a great majority of the players that go out.

logic411 0
I for one do not think online poker is rigged. However, I was watching and reading a few articles that say there is no way to truly make a computer program completely random. I watched a few programs where programmers ripped off casinos based on the fact that they could beat the "randomness". Anyone else read or hear the same. PLEASE NOTE - this is not a online poker is rigged comment. Just some food for thought.

Money022 0
I was really hoping this wouldn't turn into a joke about online poker being rigged. I know it's not, and I know Stars isn't rigged. That wasn't what I was getting at. My statement was merely an observation that dominating hands don't seem to hold up as the odds say they should. This is everyones hands, not mine.

This is everyones hands, not mine. You can't hint at online poker being rigged, and then demand that people do not turn this into a joke about it being rigged. It either is, or it's not... which is it? What is it that you're saying then? You are in fact CLEARLY suggesting that it is rigged, by saying that the dominating hand hardly ever wins. I'd be very interested to know exactly how many tournaments/SNGs that you have played. Also, I promise you that part of the reason is that you seem to notice the 'bad beats' more than the hands that stand up when they 'should'. There are also much more bad players online, meaning more bad calls, meaning more suck outs.I assure you that the odds do add up online, and Pokerstars is not rigged. There are NOT more bad beats on the river than there should be.

This is everyones hands, not mine. Here is a serious reply, if you really think that it is 70% suckouts than you should go all in every hand because you are going to pick up alot of chips from people folding and once you do get called you will almost certainly be a big dog and you can then use your odds to suck out. Should be no problem raking up a large bankroll and a huge stake on pokerstars. by the way please post back with complements to my system and if you can see how stupid that line of thinking is than JUST STOP IT !
