(Although Im not a fan of his line on that hand)Yeah, that seems like a good flop for him, I don't get why he checks behind. He still plays higher, I guess he kinda bounces around. He left my table, I searched for him and found him at 5 5/10NL tables.

I plan on going at least for the weekend, Im gonna play the first event, skip the 2nd, and play the bounty tourney, and unless I cash in 1 or crush the cash game, head home.I'm planning on being there for the whole thing. It's about a 7 hour drive for me, so I'd like to make it a decently long trip. I'm gonna buyin to all events besides the 5k and play sats to the 5k. I'll probably drive out there on Friday and plan on leaving the Monday after.I'll have my own room, probably splitting it with somebody, not sure yet who. They have a pretty comfortable couch in each room if you need a place to crash for a couple nights.

NoSup4U 0
Should I have checked the turn? Turn Bet and River bet fine? No, definitely bet the turn and river. If he has a hand like QJ/QQ/JJ and probably even aces or kings at that level he'll go to war on the turn. I like how you played it on all streets.Mark

Obv I don't know villian, but standard 3betting ranges are big pairs, and AK/AQ. I'm for sure calling with JJ pf, but on the flop, I think you're best to just call and not shove. The only hand I can really see you having hope of getting called by that is worse is TT. He probably doesn't 3bet 99 or 88 pf, folds AK and AQ to your shove, and calls with QQ/KK/AA. If you want to go to war, just flat call, and let him bluff shove the turn with AK/AQ so at least you get some value there.Mark

Merby 3
Up $180 in a quick 20 minute session before dinner. I will probably go back on later tonight. I stacked off a tilted player who couldn't release a moderate overpair.I had been releasing my BB to pre-flop raises and this seemed like a nice spot to peel a flop and switch it up a bit. Merby 3
Here's my month up to date. I haven't been playing many hands yet: I can only afford maybe an hour or two per day, but here it is. wsox8 10
Tried make the climb up from being down $250. Was playing 4 tables of 2/4 but once I'd get up at 3 tables, the other one would be horrible and I would be back at even. Example: I was up about $15 on 3 of them then I get aces cracked by eights and I'm down somehow. Here's the graph for today. Tomorrow should be better, can't be a whole lot worse.. These limit players are so aggressive that I never know if anyone has anything.
