Acid_Knight 2 Posted January 23, 2009 Share Posted January 23, 2009 Mark cannot win pots from me despite sitting on my immediate left.I'm sure he'll (correctly) point out that he just lost all of the showdowns to me and position was basically irrelevant, except for that I had to suck out on him a time or two, BUT I wouldn't have had to do that if he didn't call every single raise I made with hands like T7s and Q9o. At one point I've bluffed off a grand to Matt, I've lost $1500 shipping A3s on T53ss flop vs KK and not getting there, and I've lost another $500 so I'm stuck $3000 overall in about an hour and a half. I'm none too happy obv but people just decided to give me their money.Some fun hands:I 3bet this crazy asian chick from the bb with AA, she calls quickly. Flop K87r I lead 300 into 400 pot, she min raises. I tank and call, turn 7 I check she instantly ships in her last 900ish, I call and she has air.I limp AA utg, utg1 raises to 50, call, call, crazy asian chick JUST CALLS, I throw in 400 hoping to look bluffy with AK or just like I'm trying to steal (utg1 was the guy with KK I shipped the big draw on and he only had $1200 so I thought he might stack off with TT+ here). Everyone folds though until it gets back to the crazy asian chick who had just called behind 4 of us, and she decides to move all in for $2000 total. gg sweetie :)Also played a pot I really liked. Tightish guy with about 900 raises in ep, donk calls on button, I call in bb with 96c. Flop 975 one club. I check, pf raiser bets, donk calls, I call. Turn is 4c giving me tp, oesd, and fd. I decide I can fold out an overpair and can handle a raise so I lead out 250. pf raiser tanks forever and folds, and the donk calls me with 450 behind. River is a 4 for a 97544 board. I check it over to him AND HE ASKS ME IF I'M CHECKING TO LET HIM BLUFF! Which of course I am because he never valuetowns me with 98 or something here. So he thinks for a while, asks me if I will fold if he goes all in, etc. He finally shoves and I call and he says nice and and folds. First guy asks to see my hand and I show and he gets all upset and tells me that he had me 'killed' on the turn. I'm a bit of a pessimist in that regard though. Firearms is big business. That shit isn't going to die. The vast majority of the time I'm 3betting pre. It seemed like this guy liked to bluff at almost every pot he was in once he saw the flop but had a high fold to 3bet% pre. Just seemed like a good spot to give him some rope. Obviously there's a lot of flops I wouldn't like though. Link to post Share on other sites
