AAsnake88 0 Posted March 12, 2007 Share Posted March 12, 2007 I was gonna post on Friday when I started, but being the lazy *** I am to begin with, I just started without posting.So...I'm doing this on a smaller scale, primarily because I'm not really experinced in playing nlhe cash (I've played maybe 10k hands of nlhe ring online in the past 4 years) but I want to see if I can accomplish this anyway. I had $100 sitting in my bodog account, and I want to see how long it takes to get it to $10k playing nothing but nlhe. I rarely play there except for random tourneys, so it's the best place for me to do it and easily keep accurate records. I'm not setting a specific time goal because I really have no idea how long it will take for me to do it, and I'm only going to spend 2-3 hours per day working at it since I'm playing primarily live.I'm going to use a 10 buyin bankroll rule, if I lose 2 buyins when I move up it's back down for me.Started with $100 on Friday, currently at $220 after 1650 hands at $10nl.Since I started prior to posting, I'll use the $220 as the baseline for here.GL me. Two tabled 3/6NL for about 2 hours. Will play more this afternoon. (Note: didn't play anymore)Day 4: up $600. Four tabled 3/6NL for about 1 1/2 hours. Day 5: up $200. 2 tabled 3/6NL for about an hour.Day 6: up $150. 3 tabled 3/6NL for about an hour. Played another hour tonight, up $1600Day 7: up $2000. 2 tabled 3/6NL, in 2, 2 hour sessions. One tabled for another hour tonight, up $700.Day 8: DNPDay 9: DNP. down $100. I was so awful that I had to give money away after I coached someone.Day 10: The donk I coached gave my $100 back (shows how donkey he is). Also played about an hour of 3/6, 3 tables. Live I play 10/20NL if its available)I definitely don't make 20K in 3 weeks often, but I don't play as much as I have been either. But I was ahead when 5/6th of the money went in so I don't consider it a suckout ;)I was once playing 50NL too. The game is all the same, just stakes are different. Was down 500 pretty quick, KK to AA again. Kept plugging away, ended session -77. 4 hours, 6 tables.Tonight. Still off my A game. Seems like every time I raised I would get popped and any time I would play back they actually would have a monster. Only played 3 hours cause I was frustrated as hell. Can't seem to find my groove. Ugh. 3 hours, 6 tables, -515. The whole idea was to build a br from 1k because that was about all I had online at the time.
