Sheiky 0
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Actually, it says that you've given up $140 in equity on the hands that made it to showdown, but you're up $40 in non-showdown winnings. So you should be down $100 over that stretch, but thankfully are running (a little) hot and are only down $80. It's far too small a sample size to be sure, but I would hazard a guess that you might actually be a little too blindly aggressive and not selective enough in your aggression. You can pick up the unwanted pots, but whenever you are called, you are behind in the hand and do not release your weaker holdings soon enough... Your opponents may have picked up on this and are letting you control the betting for their good hands.Showdown winnings don't have anything to do with how good or bad you're running(Well, not in this instance), they're an indication of playing style. The fact he's up X in showdown winnings and Y in non SD winnings doesn't mean he's running below/above expectation at atll.

Merby 3
Showdown winnings don't have anything to do with how good or bad you're running(Well, not in this instance), they're an indication of playing style. The fact he's up X in showdown winnings and Y in non SD winnings doesn't mean he's running below/above expectation at atll.Showdown winnings by itself means nothing. But comparing showdown winnings to Sklansky bucks over a large sample size allows you to see how you're running. I agree about the idea that there are different playing styles (some make all their profit in non-showdown pots, others prefer to make a chunk in showdown pots, etc.) If, however, your playing style has you as losing money over all, even after factoring out luck, then it is useful to try to pin down possible leaks. Since the original post seemed to be asking what might be going wrong, I thought I would suggest a possible problem that matches the observed trend on the graph. Of course, a 1200 hand sample size is ridiculously small to give an accurate trend...
cwik 0
Goddammit, I'm down $3500 today so far. Took a match at 5/10 against some superaggro Norwegian guy, all 3 times I had 3-bet he 4-bet, so I flat a 4b with KTo, flop 973 with 2 spades, I check/shove, he calls off $700 more with AK and wins. I lose another BI AIPF with AQ vs. 99, flop QT3, turn 9, win one back when I river a flush, shove for 2x pot and he calls with 2nd pair, then he quits. Also, I don't think there was more than 1 fish playing 2/4 6-max today on FTP. Games insanely dry today.when a guy is 4betting you that much, why are you still 3betting light? Also, I am pretty sure KTo is fold or shove there, like always.
NoSup4U 0
Good example of how my day is going. So this hand works out perfectly. Original raiser for sure can't call my 3bet, he's just going to shove. Then sb will call because he's 45/32 and I'll have him trapped right? But no. Raiser just calls, other dude mysteriously folds somehow, and I flop the nuts but am behind as usual:Full Tilt PokerNo Limit Holdem Ring gameBlinds: $3/$66 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $856.15UTG+1: $722.25CO: $112.20Button: $358.50SB: $816NoSup4U: $1182Pre-flop: (6 players) NoSup4U is BB with 2 folds, CO raises to $21, Button folds, SB calls, NoSup4U raises to $54, CO calls, SB folds.Flop: :D ($129, 2 players)NoSup4U checks, CO is all-in $58.2, NoSup4U calls.Turn: ($245.4, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $245.4)River: ($245.4, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $245.4)Results:Final pot: $245.4CO showed 6h 4hNoSup4U showed Ad AsMark
