Zach6668 513
This is from a few pages back...don't know if it's been discussed, but...Why are you raising here if you're gonna fold to a shove? seems like a complete spew. I'd just try to get a cheap showdown here...so call and reevaluate river. Oh yeah, meant to comment on that. We should never be raising the turn there. As has been said many times, we don't raise for info.Yeah, I commented on this hand and said the same thing, but I get no respect! [/rodney dangerfield]Also, I'm surprised I didn't get any "I hate yous" when I posted my graph. Kinda upset by that.Butterflies!!! Ray has some bad ass ones picked out already.looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
Giggidy 0
haha a ginger? i'm not red headed lolzhe's a tough reg, not your stereotypical reg that understand the game well but kinda goes thru the motions just to make money (nothing wrong with that, but there are def. differences). he's the kinda guy i'll learn from more and become a better player by playing him. that's the reason i'm doing it. it also is a bit of a wake up call for my game and what i need to do if i really wanna take my game to the next level.not that he is like so awesome, he just plays a tough winning style that's different, and it's important for me to understand why he does what he does, how to counter it, and then how to use what i've learned from him into my game and become a better player. win or lose $ wise, i dont really care. i can already tell ive learned a good deal about my hu game by playing him and the types of things he has done to me that i can do to others in the future, not to mention how i can be more effective against a style like his ownORLY - i thought you were in that pic...u sure you're not a ginger ninja? GL in the match if you play again

Snamuh 0
I also can't beat WSODice at all. Probably one of the worst FTP regs at 2/4 and I'm down like 6 buy-ins to this guy in like 1.5k hands. He's flopped sets on me with TT vs my AA in 3bet pots 100 BBs deep. My KK runs into his AA or my QQ runs into his QQ. Didn't expect to win this awesome hand vs him today (BB was a huge fish, wanted to keep him in the pot):Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $4.00 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.comHero (Button) ($400)SB ($1380.40)BB ($159.80)UTG ($445.50)MP ($787)CO ($799.10)Preflop: Hero is Button with Q, QUTG raises to $14, 2 folds, Hero calls $14, 2 foldsFlop: ($34) 2, 6, 2(2 players)UTG bets $32, Hero calls $32Turn: ($98) 6(2 players)UTG checks, Hero bets $76, UTG calls $76River: ($250) 4(2 players)UTG checks, Hero bets $148, UTG calls $148Total pot: $546 | Rake: $3Results:Hero had Q, Q (two pair, Queens and sixes).UTG had 5, 2 (full house, twos over sixes).Outcome: UTG won $
The Lobster 0
So much for running good.FWIW, my first 1100 hands today looked similarly \, but things are getting better and, while not quite robusto yet, my graph has been doing this for a while: /.Keep your chin up graph brother! Snamuh 0
FWIW, my first 1100 hands today looked similarly \, but things are getting better and, while not quite robusto yet, my graph has been doing this for a while: /.Keep your chin up graph brother! Unfortunately I will not be reaching robusto as I don't feel like playing after dropping almost 6.5 buy-ins in ~700 hands. Pretty brutal day. There was a 60/30 just randomly raising flop cbets 4x. A reg sheriffed him one time and he shut down after the flop. Obv he does it to me like 2 or 3 times before I figure out wtf he's doing and when I have some semblance of a hand he just folds to my cbet. Additionally when I finally defend one of his 3bets he has AA vs my AsJx on Js9s2s and I whiff obv. Pretty awesome setup there. Also love when nanonoko defends my 3bet with trash 100 BB deep and flops bottom two on J85 to stack my overpair. Poker is awesome sometimes!Oh well, bump in the road for an otherwise sensational month. The only thing that sucks is that this is kind of de ja vu from what happened in January (was on pace for best month ever, had a crippling day, went downhill from there). Jordan 1
soooo lol i tried 3 tabling blue_hurricane at 3/6 we start up and he naturally insta gets up like whatever 3 buy-ins i'm like fml, couldn't do anything right. he lol didn't fold to any 3bets at my 15-20% rate and he had a pretty ridic 3bet % himself.luckily i dont think he plays really well in general and he didn't quit so off we go. i win a buy-in back on one table and he insta leaves (wtf is wrong w these ppl) anyways, i get it back from him and then some, and then some other reggish player who is super nitty and just lol sits down.he is opening like 40% of his hands but 3betting just a ridic amount. im kinda loling and just biding my time. so then this happens against the nit and im like aoijfeowifajhttp://www.holdemmanager.netNL Holdem $6(BB) Replayer Game#10693662536silk21 ($566)GIFT_4_YOU ($656)GIFT_4_YOU posts (SB) $3silk21 posts (BB) $6Dealt to GIFT_4_YOU 6d 8c GIFT_4_YOU raises to $18silk21 calls $12FLOP ($36) 5d 6s 8h check, GIFT_4_YOU bets $24silk21 raises to $90GIFT_4_YOU raises to $252silk21 raises to $548GIFT_4_YOU calls $296TURN ($1,132) 5d 6s 8h Ks RIVER ($1,132) 5d 6s 8h Ks 4h silk21 shows 5s 5h (Flop 81.6%, Turn 90.9%)GIFT_4_YOU shows 6d 8c (Flop 18.4%, Turn 9.1%)silk21 wins $1,131then vshortly after we get TT < KK in pre and im like nicelife.org. granted this guy is just super lol he sticks around i grind him down and then this oneeeeesomehow i induce this nuttiness. pretty lolhttp://www.holdemmanager.netNL Holdem $6(BB) Replayer Game#10693992005silk21 ($1,214)GIFT_4_YOU ($1,112)GIFT_4_YOU posts (SB) $3silk21 posts (BB) $6Dealt to GIFT_4_YOU Jd Ac GIFT_4_YOU raises to $18silk21 raises to $54GIFT_4_YOU calls $36FLOP ($108) 9d Jc 8h check, GIFT_4_YOU bets $72silk21 calls $72TURN ($252) 9d Jc 8h Jh check, GIFT_4_YOU bets $192silk21 raises to $408GIFT_4_YOU calls $216RIVER ($1,068) 9d Jc 8h Jh 8c silk21 bets $680GIFT_4_YOU calls $578silk21 shows Kh Qs (Flop 36.9%, Turn 9.1%)GIFT_4_YOU shows Jd Ac (Flop 63.1%, Turn 90.9%)GIFT_4_YOU wins $2,224so i get robusto / up a bit and they both insta quit. kewl i guess i'll play BH again, not sure about other dude (doubt he'll play me more but we'll see). AAsnake88 0
Is there a limit to the number of times you both flop set under set and run AA-KK into a flopped set in one session? If there is I think I've hit that limit in under 600 hands.
fighter 4
Been meaning to post a hand from Commerce the other night.Edit: This is 100NLVillains A & B - both weak/tight semi-regs - play pretty straight forward fit or fold, roughly $350 each.Me - TAG image but shown down one big three barrel bluff in the last hour, $490Villain A raises to $10 from MP1Villain B calls from the COHero makes it $38 from BTN w/ 4 6 :spade:Both villains call.Flop is 3 5 K :spade:Villain A leads out for $100.Villain B minraises to $200.Hero...?Text results appended to pokerstove.txt 8,910 games 0.005 secs 1,782,000 games/secBoard: 3h 5s KsDead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 40.258% 40.26% 00.00% 3587 0.00 { 6s4s }Hand 1: 59.742% 59.74% 00.00% 5323 0.00 { KK, 55, 33 }The answer to this is shove imo. If Villian B is such a nit that he only ever min raises with a set, you are almost still making a good play from the $224 dead money in the pot. Your risking 312 to win 526 which is $25 dollars short of the actual odds you need to just draw. If you have fold equity here at all or the villian has a weaker range then this is a good play. If you have fold equity here at all or the villian has a weaker range then this is a good play.If we're flipping coins for lots of dead money, that's great. However, there are some uglier scenarios where they have larger flush draws. If the King was the heart and the 3 was the spade, that'd be more helpful.Actual scenario: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 33.027% 33.03% 00.00% 172380 0.00 { 6s4s }Hand 1: 33.486% 30.89% 02.60% 161217 13560.00 { KK, 55, 33, AKs, AsQs, AsJs, AsTs, As9s, As8s, As7s, As6s, As3s, As2s, AKo }Hand 2: 33.486% 30.89% 02.60% 161217 13560.00 { KK, 55, 33, AKs, AsQs, AsJs, AsTs, As9s, As8s, As7s, As6s, As3s, As2s, AKo }Hyopthetical:Board: 3s 5s Kh equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 36.988% 36.99% 00.00% 182364 0.00 { 6s4s }Hand 1: 31.506% 28.59% 02.92% 140955 14382.00 { KK, 55, 33, AKs, AsQs, AsJs, AsTs, As9s, As8s, As7s, As6s, As3s, As2s, AKo }Hand 2: 31.506% 28.59% 02.92% 140955 14382.00 { KK, 55, 33, AKs, AsQs, AsJs, AsTs, As9s, As8s, As7s, As6s, As3s, As2s, AKo }Basically, in the actual, I think folding or shoving aren't too far from each other. Just depends on if you want to fire up your variance.
