Bad enough that Jordan could actually say "That's a beat for that much money for that many hands no?" and it actually be true. But good enough that I can't post a graph of winning 6k and have people feel bad for me. Just really hard to explain how even the days you win are a struggle because it isn't just the run equity bad but the ranges you run into. Constantly running into the top of ranges, etc. Whatever. It's really frustrating but it comes with the territory. I probably need to start doing a better job of re-evaluating my game too instead of just playing as many hands as possible.

Obv I am not nearly at the level of the rest here and we are playing the same level currently, but I am making it $2 or so here against those numbers. I have noticed the same as you, they are raising with Ax a lot and also shipping it pre with 99,10 10 and JJ. I have been very profitable getting it in with QQ-AA and AJ-AK against these type of players. Again, I am still just learning the game on the cash side, and a little drunk now, but this is what I have been doing profitably.

I think you have to raise this. You don't want to see a 4-way flop first-to-act with a hand like QQ. I'd like a raise to 4-5x here.

I think this was an interesting hand from today.. villain plays like 58/12.. he plays really poor pre-flop and like just okay postflop. We have played 400 hands 2 tabling throughout several sessions today. This was towards the end of the session. He started up about a buy-in early but eventually at this point I think he was down about 2 or 3 bi's but I don't think it really bothered him to the point he was tilting. He limps a very wide range and bets pot on most flops in limped pots. We haven't ever played a hand like this to this point and although I've seen him bluff big in spots I've never seen him bluff raise which leads me to believe he is shoving for value. Can you explain why $2 is too small? I guess I am thinking that a huge repop here is only getting called by hands that we coinflip with or are already behind, and hard to lay down post flop, where a $2 or so raise will still see people with worse hands call, Ax, Q9-QJ, K9-KQ, 89, 9 10, J 10 and small pairs type of hands. Are you doing the big raise because the villian's stats are that bad. Again, excuse me if this is elementary to you.
