psujohn 0
Can someone explain to me why Degenyamine wasn't retained as a red pro once his contract ran out?It had to be good for traffic, etc.?There's little value to getting people to watch rail heaven. There's a lot of value in getting lots of TV exposure via HSP/PAD/WPT/WSOP and Degenyamine does little of that. Honestly Clonie > Benyamine in terms of advertising value. There's a lot of value in getting lots of TV exposure via HSP/PAD/WPT/WSOP and Degenyamine does little of that. Honestly Clonie > Benyamine in terms of advertising value.I agree with Giggidy.Benyanmine is a better player than Clonie, so he is more likely to play in live high stakes cash games and go deep in tournaments, i.e. he'll get more TV time to wear his Full Tilt gear. I know promotion is about more than just tv time, but it's pretty important. Also he often puts in way more volume online than any other FT pro, usually at the very highest stakes. I think this, along with him coming across well on TV and having a hot fiance make him pretty good for promotion. What are Clonie's assets for marketing other than her being a woman? Is that one asset really that useful? Also is Benyamine not even a Full Tilt pro anymore? I didn't think he was ever on Team Full Tilt?Edit: I also 100% disagree that there is little value in getting people to watch RailHeaven.

But I think on 2p2 they were saying Benyamine left because Tilt wouldn't give him the money he wanted, not because Tilt didn't want him back.Mark
